Location & Ambience: Zizzi is located inside Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, making it a convenient stop during or after shopping. It offers a small outdoor seating area and a modern indoor space. The atmosphere is inviting, with low background music that allows for conversation. It’s suitable for families, couples, or groups of friends—there’s enough room for both small and large gatherings. Cleanliness & Comfort: The restaurant is well-maintained and clean throughout, including the restrooms. The seating is comfortable, and the layout gives enough space between tables to feel relaxed. Menu & Pricing: This Italian restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes including pizzas, pastas (like carbonara), and salads. The starters menu is appealing with options like brisket bomb, prawns, and calamari. They also serve sides such as fries and crispy riserva potatoes, along with a selection of desserts including salted caramel brownies and raspberry Collins cheesecake. Drinks include a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, as well as hot beverages like tea and coffee. A standout offering is their 3-course special menu (starter, main, and dessert) for around €32. While a few items are excluded, most popular choices are included—making it a great value if you’re planning a full meal. Food Experience: We tried the brisket bomb, calamari, and prawns for starters. The brisket bomb was outstanding—full of flavor and definitely the highlight of the meal. Calamari was also perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. Prawns were decent, though not as impressive. For mains, we had pizza, carbonara with chorizo, and pasta—all of which were good, but not exceptional. As sides, the fries were salty, crisp, and delicious, while the crispy riserva potatoes were just okay. Desserts were solid: the salted caramel brownie and raspberry Collins cheesecake were satisfying but not particularly unique. Tea and coffee were served well and made a good ending to the meal. Staff & Service: Staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. Service was smooth from start to finish. Accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair-accessible and conveniently located within the shopping centre. Final Thoughts: Zizzi is a reliable Italian option in Liffey Valley with a modern setting. I’ll definitely return for the brisket bomb—it’s a must-try starter. While the food is enjoyable, the pricing leans slightly on the higher side—especially without the 3-course deal.

Where do I start...... I've had two terrible experiences 1st one was dining I 2nd one was takeaway. My partner and I drove 30 minutes to go to this restaurant.... the place was no more than 25 % at capacity we got greeted at the door and were asked for a reservation, we said we didn't have one. We then got told they are only taking reservations. I checked online to see if I could reserve a table, tables were available to book all evening. Literally every slot was available to book. I said can I just book online now? We were told no that we need to do so 24 hours in advance. The place was empty.... it was as if the server just didn't want to do any more work. I worked in the service industry for years, throughour college and would have never dreamed of treating customers like this. We went next door to wagamamas who were almost at capacity, no problems, they were happy to take us, the service from the staff was excellent and far superior than what we experienced in zizzis. I then decided to order off deliveroo for a vegan pizza a few weeks later..... what arrived was a slap in the face, I got given a to go box with sauce and the topping for the pizza but no.... pizza. It was a slap in the face I paid in total 30 euro for this bill and got given sauce in a box. You can't write it. Any vegans I would not order from this place, I'd have to assume this was a slight against me as a vegan. I've never seen anything like it. I've attached the photo of what arrived. I rang the restaurant and no surprise there was met with complete apathy. Do not waste your money on this place.

We are frequent patrons to zizis in general and love visiting and the food, particular to liffey valley being in close proximity. On a number of recent visits we've seen a decline in service to a point we probably won't come back. On this particular visit, it was subpar/poor. We've had visits before where they forgot our food and waiting 2hours! Firstly I asked for no cumcumbers for my kid meal and some extra carrots instead, instead got the cucumbers and two slices of carrot. The orange juice for kids is just diluted orange juice and was served overflowing and almost warm water on this occasion, possibly a warm plastic cup?. Food was extremely slow. We ran out of water for the table and couldn't get a servers attention. When finished the mains we waited for our dessert, it didnt come so we asked a server. It was kids icecream and chocolate cake to go with our 3 course meal. I noticed another table request dessert and they got it near instantly. Had to ask a second time, it was so long that the icecream given to our kid was just slush. We never got ours. When we finally got the server again we just asked for a bill. I asked to pay for the 2 dishes we had instead of the 3 course and skip the dessert but was told they couldn't change it which wasn't great. They offered a take away dessert which we said ok to. When we finally paid up and got the dessert it just hit the final straw. Picture attached, literally just tossed in, no icecream. Awful service, didn't listen and awful attention to detail. Very disappointed. That and an upset child going home.

Thank you very much for finally rectifying the mistake. I truly enjoyed the lunch last week and I wish you maintain the same standards as last time. I would improve the rating here. Make it 4 stars with the experience we had after passing the feedback and improving on the services and the food.

I hope we had some kind of negative marking for the services. I am sure this is not a Self Service Restaurant. And no presence of the owner of the restaurant or any responsible person make this absolutely a night mare.

  1. No one to assist or greet at the restaurant.
  2. Finally ask the Bar tender and he was clueless about it. Finally took our own place to sit.
  3. Got the menu card lying in the accessories or the utility table myself.
  4. Caught hold of one guy just roaming around without doing any work and OfCourse he was an attender.
  5. He called up someone else to take the order and finally the order was placed.
  6. The Pizza, Rustica Pinoli, with the below topings and ingredients, it definitely did not contain the pine nuts and fresh basil. I literally cannot make the differences in the three cheese from the description.

Goat’s cheese, mozzarella, caramelized balsamic onions, Sunblush tomatoes, pine nuts, fresh basil and riserva cheese. 7) I had specifically asked for the addition of the two toppings, Black Olives and Green Jalapenos. Both of them were missing. 8) I spoke to the attender, he acknowledged it was missing, he tried to replace it. However, after another 20 minutes of time, the same pizza came back with counting 4 pieces of Green Jalapenos and some olives with extra more Cheese on that Pizza. I understand the chef had put those extra on the top and to hide that or get that blended on the Pizza he must have used extra cheese and that spoiled the whole piece. 9) As it was all late, finally I went back to the attender counter and asked for the desert. And they give us the desert without the dessert spoon. Am I supposed to eat that Ice-cream and the hot cake with hand? 10) And finally no one was even there to get me the bill. I finally walked down to one of the attender and asked him to print the bill. The Paper was jammed within the printer. (I can understand the technical glitch and ignored it). Some how got to know the amount and paid the bill and went off.

The most irony part I can say. Check the CC TV of this time after 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM. However, many times I had got up from my seat to do each work. Once more couple, came later and sitting beside my table, just left because no one was there to attend them. I am sure Restaurant was not at all full.

Now some good things.

  1. Garlic bread was awesome.
  2. Veg Lasagna was also great choice.
  3. Once it...

First and last time I'll be there. Went with a friend and were seated quickly but the restaurant was half empty anyways. Order was taken quick enough but it all went downhill from there. 10 minutes later the waitress came over saying she lost our ticket and if she could take our order again. 20 minutes went by and no one had come near us really except with our drinks. We were getting annoyed at this point and what made it worse was we were seated so close to the kitchen that we could hear the waitress asking where was our food. A couple of times we were tempted to walk and go to McDonald's just to get something. One side came out eventually, about 5 minutes later our pizzas came out and being honest, they were nothing special. I had ordered the potatoes and asked if they were on the way. Again, could see the waitress saying this to the chef and he clearly hadn't them even started. I went over and told her to leave them because I wasn't waiting any longer for them. We ate quickly because we were so unhappy with the service there, we just wanted to go. We didn't even stay for dessert because the service was so bad so we opted for Ginos instead. When we went to pay, we told them we weren't happy with the service. We mentioned about everything not coming out together and waitress said they didnt know we wanted everything to come out.... they didnt know we wanted our mains and sides to come out together.... The waitress not only told us they were short staffed but that manager had already verbally abused the staff that day. I could clearly see it in the waitress that they were so done with that day, so much so that we told them to leave the job because it sounded so toxic to work in. I wouldn't be recommending Zizzi to anyone and to avoid. There is clearly a breakdown in communication between floor staff and the kitchen, and from the waitress and other reviews have said, the manager(s) are toxic...
