The menu is extensive with a range of options from authentic Cantonese to standard fare that you’d expect in an Irish Chinese restaurant. There’s something for everyone! The menu has some pictures and titles in Chinese and English, but it largely relies on customers to know what’s in dishes. Customers who are unfamiliar with dishes will likely need to ask more questions or ask for recommendations based on their likes.
We were happily surprised that their dine-in, early-bird menu lasts into part of the evening, so you can get excellent value on typical fare even into the evening. (If I recall, the stop time was 8pm on Saturday.)
The portions are hearty without overwhelming and the service is well-paced and friendly. The staff has a just-right balance of table-side attentiveness and giving customers time and space to enjoy their courses. We felt very well looked after. After learning we were celebrating a milestone, they kindly surprised us with a sweet treat.
We’d visited a couple times over the past two years, and the recent changes have been exciting. There’s a clear commitment to modernisation, more varied food and an...
Read moreWe have visited a few times now for dim sum and have been very pleased each visit.
The dim sum is delicious and there is a really great selection! Some of our favourite are their har gau which has loads of juice prawn and all of the char siu (sweet BBQ pork) options! They do chung fun, xio long bao and often have a special on too. The variety is great and it is the best place I've been to in Dublin for dim sum.
One of the meals they have is ho fun which is my absolute favourite fat chewy noodle dish with beef.
We have visited several times and are very happy with the options.
Dim sum is great when a few of you are eating as you can get a lot of options to share.
The price is also very reasonable. From dim sum (and the noodles) we usually spend less than €100 for 4 people which isn't possible almost anywhere else in Dublin anymore! We also leave stuffed having eaten that amount of delicious food.
I highly recommend a visit if you love and miss dim sum in Dublin.
There is a big (free) car park out the back. So far we haven't had to book to get a weekend dim sum spot, but I would guess some days are busier...
Read morePlace is located behind a pub/ carvery not sure which so was very hard to find, not to mention the sign wasn’t the biggest either. Upon entry you’re needed with a table that seems to be selling their plates and serving dishes (looks like they might be shutting down) athmosphere was poor in the sense that there was only a family of 3 there with me. Songs they were playing were a bit depressing too. Ordered a bubble tea spice bag combo which cost me 15, service was very quick, in and out about 10 minutes. Drove home to eat it. Spice bag was pretty much what you expect it to taste of. Chicken was cooked okay a tiny bit pink but safe to eat. Chips were a mix. Some of them soggy others nice and crispy. The bubble tea I got was blueberry. Very sweet but overall taste good.
Parking on site you need to go to the far right of the complex or park at circle k and walk over if you’re paro about not finding parking like me.
If you want to try something different definetly check this place out. Obviously like all Chinese places, don’t expect it to be gormet, it’s standard takeaway style like...
