Terrifying Experience – Health Hazard & Abusive Behavior

I had the worst experience with this restaurant. I found a steeple pin inside my food, which is a serious health hazard. When I called to report this, instead of apologizing or addressing the issue, they abused and threatened me. They even made a discriminatory remark, saying, "This is not India, you cannot complain," and told me, "We don’t want customers like you."

I am absolutely shocked and terrified by their behavior. No customer should ever be treated this way, let alone be served food that poses a risk to health and safety. I strongly advise against ordering from this place—not only is their food unsafe, but their attitude toward customer concerns is beyond unacceptable.

If you value your health and dignity, avoid this restaurant at all costs. What a lie Smoking Goat, accept it there is no shame in accepting the truth. I am shocked to see how people has degraded themselves to such an extent. The reason I gave 2 cents of precious time to write a review here is as a responsible person I want to make sure other consumers show know about how Pathetic the service is from Smoking Goat, otherwise I don't have time nor energy to discuss a Truth - Lie game with you. Here is the attachment. Also I already raised a concern with Just Eat and got a swift response from them , that's how a Company and Management should behave. But clearly your team needs management skills and most importantly " how to talk". And I have been a Consumer since so long that even at that Smoking Goat didn't exist. And with this kind of service, lie, behaviour , attitude and disrespect, I am deeply concerned about...

Went there to get lunch guy asked if I was collecting I said no thinking he’d serve me and walked off , then I went to use the touchpad screen to order took me 5-6 minutes to order on the screen go to pay with the card machine and it wasn’t working then I asked the staff why it wasn’t working and he still said no words and pointed at the front counter were I stood for 5 minutes waiting to be talked to during me ordering on the screen the guy behind the counter served multiple people and said nothing to me. Myself and my fiancé were really looking forward to the Maynooth branch opening after frequenting the Celbridge one for the past few years.

It was everything we anticipated and more! Wait times are so very manageable (under 10mins), we both got the German Doner lunch deal, which was aesthetically pleasing, delicious (seasoned to perfection and with a wonderful spice blend especially for a pallet like my own which can't handle much spice) , fresh in both cook and prep, and customer service which was top notch as ever.

If you're looking for tasty, fresh and price reasonable food, look no further. Such accommodating, and considerate staff, I'm looking forward to making it another one of our regular food haunts...
