· I booked the table about a week ago for 2 adults and 3 kids for 4pm – table wasn’t ready despite there being NOBODY in the restaurant.
· We had to ask the waiter to come over and take our order after approx. 15 minutes because nobody was coming near us , even to order a drink.
· When we did finally get to order we told the waiter we wanted the €80 deal ( which by the way has a saving of 1euro , out of pure boredom while we were waiting we totted it up!) He didn’t seem to have a clue about what it entailed because he had to keep going back to look at the menu to see what the order was. I asked him for the white wine to which he said a glass and I explained no as part of the deal. We also ordered kids meals plus their drinks.
· At approx. 4.45 ( 45 minutes after we entered the restaurant) we still hadn’t received our drinks, even the tap water we were looking for and requested twice.
· When the wine came at 4.45 . no water and no kids drinks. I asked a different waiter for kids drinks and the original waiter came back down and said what drinks did you want, I told him I ordered them and he just shrugged and said he forgot – no apology.
· By 5pm as we were sharing our starters I had to ask them to bring kids food asap as they were starving. We ordered Naan bread for them which didn’t come.
· There is three pictures below , the one with the empty plates is taken at 5.15 – 75 minutes after we entered the restaurant , waiting on our mains, which I had to ask another waiter to get for us.
· In this time , 4 tables of people had come and gone.
· The other picture is how our table looked at the end of our meal – no plates cleared, nobody asked did we need anything, deserts , extra drinks etc.
· We asked for the bill twice ( last picture) and nobody bothered coming with a card machine so we left the table in that state and paid for the bill at...

As an Indian, finding an Indian restaurant abroad that truly satisfies your palate is no small feat — but this place absolutely delivered! The entire dining experience was delightful, and the food was not only authentic but bursting with flavor.
We ordered a variety of dishes including:
Seekh Kebab
Chicken Tikka
Samosa
Crispy Fried Chicken
Tandoori Meat Platter
Chicken Biryani
Butter Chicken
Garlic Coriander Butter Naan
Tawa Chicken
Fried Rice
Each dish was well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. Among the starters, I would highly recommend the Seekh Kebab and the Tandoori Meat Platter — both were juicy, well-marinated, and cooked to perfection.
For the mains, Butter Chicken paired with Garlic Coriander Butter Naan was the absolute highlight — rich, creamy, and comforting. The Chicken Biryani had a wonderful aroma and authentic taste, and the Tawa Chicken was a nice contrast that also stood out.
Other Tips:
Cost: Expect to spend around €35–€40 per person, depending on your order.
Reservation: Usually not required, but I recommend calling ahead or reserving just to be safe, especially on weekends.
Parking: Can be a bit tricky. Try to plan ahead — there’s usually some street parking available nearby, or you can park at Dunnes Stores which is close.
In summary, if you're craving Indian food that feels like home — this place is absolutely worth a visit. I’d definitely go back and recommend it to others looking for a quality...
Read moreVery unimpressed. Ordered for delivery and we couldn't book a slot for 6.45pm on the website due to some errors. Also, for some bizzare reason, they close at 7pm every night.
So we had to call in and spoke to 3 different people because they couldn't figure out why their systems wouldn't process the order. Eventually, when the order was placed we asked them to deliver between 6.45 and 7 because we wouldn't be home until 6.45. We get a call just after half 6 saying they're outside. So the food sat outside at our door for around ten minutes despite specifying multiple times that it was to be delivered after 6.45. It even said on the bag that it was to be delivered at 6.45.
The food wasn't great. It wasn't bad, but we got two different curries and both tasted very bland and very similar. Almost like a creamy sauce with a suggestion of spices. Chicken was very dry and felt like it had been cooked earlier in the day and thrown in just as the sauce was cooked. Just really uninspiring food.
Considering there are so many Indian restaurants and take aways around Maynooth, there's really no excuse for bland food, bad service, a website that doesn't work and then closing at 7pm at the weekend, it just doesn't make sense.
Heard good things about here, but was very disappointed with the experience, won't be...
