Lana Tullamore Asian Street Food — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Tullamore

We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. There were four of us, all coming straight from work and dressed professionally. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty—not a single table occupied. Despite this, the staff told us they were "fully booked" and refused to seat us. We politely questioned this, given the clear lack of diners and no visible signs of upcoming reservations, but the staff remained dismissive and rude. Their attitude was unwelcoming and condescending, and we were left feeling like we were being deliberately turned away. It was incredibly disappointing, especially considering we were simply looking to enjoy a nice meal after work. There is absolutely no excuse for that level of unprofessionalism. We were given a lana gift voucher for €30. On the 2nd November 24 we ordered our takeaway meal online & I choose the option to pay during collection. When I went to collect the order i wanted to use the lana gift voucher & pay the balance with my credit card. I was told I couldn't use the gift voucher because the order was made online & something about a third party transaction of the voucher, which I've never heard of before. I was also told they would only accept the gift voucher if the order was made over the phone or if i came in to give my order in the restaurant.

Working really hard for the past few weeks ,We decided to go for a bite to eat and we went into Lana in Tullamore .The atmosphere was absolutely fab, warm and cosy and the aroma of the food was breathtaking ,just couldnt wait for our food.We didnt have to wait long to be served,The staff were very attentive ,couldnt do enough for you.and before long our food arrived .No words to describe the food ,out of this world ,the slow cooked beef Massaman curry,melted in your mouth crispy peppered chicken for starters,actually making my mouth water as i'm writing this.Its a must go ,you have to try it .
