Unfortunately I have to edit this review after 5 months and 2 recent disappointing visits to warehouse. This place was our go to when in town but not anymore. And all because of your front of house manager. That man shouldn’t be out there. I understand hospitality business are facing hard times to find professionals but he doesn’t belong to hospitality. At 1 st visit we were judged by him on our outfits (we were doing house Reno before Xmas and decided to out in casual clothes for a meal unexpectedly when getting extra paint in town. He didn’t even said a single word thank you the end and was a big deal for him to give us change. And by the way he minded when we asked for bill as waiting there good half an hour without any attention after having final meal. He made us feel embarrassed really. Next time was similar story with very same man he was very lucky at times that my partner didn’t burst out on him . Please warehouse get rid of him as us and local friends will be avoiding you.
Old review from 5 months ago :Great place in Tullamore with good food and drinks. Tried fish and chips, all of the desserts, duck salad with watermelon amazing and many more. Great to visit with friends, love the decor! Small menu and feels fresh! ( one thing to note butter chicken was terrible no seasonings at all and looked messy on the plate -that’s something for the chef to...
Read moreSecond Sunday to be disappointed with warehouse, we were seated outside and asked for menu only to be told no food served outside. So we asked for a table for 4 only to be told it would be 6.30 before table would be available inside as this was 3pm.in day we declined. Fair enough you were busy. We then went to the bar to order a drink but the staff were all busy making cocktails to serve us ,we decided to wait anyway after a long wait we were finally asked what we wanted to drink my friend ordered a blue wicked to be told didn't have so ordered something different didn't have so settled for something else and a guinness. I ordered a pint of Heineken 0 0. Didn't have So went for 0 0 Guinness he had to go upstairs to get it in though he'd never come back. Now you might say I'm being unfair but this has happened before and can't help wondering how you can run out of drinks on Sunday when it's a bank Holiday and you would expect to be busy. Now I probably wouldn't have bothered with this review only while we were having our drinks outside food was served to two tables beside us? should mention no toilet paper or paper to dry hands in...
Read moreWent for lunch on Saturday with my damily and my Dad. One of party was vegan and coeliac. The website claims they cater for all allergies. However, the lunch menu - upon what we based our booking - is not available on Saturdays, or Sundays. Now there is not one bona-fide vegan option, unless you want the veggie breakfast with all items containing dairy, or flour removed- not leaving much, with no replacements offered. No-one serving seems very sure if any of the ingredients contain either gluten or non-vegan items. The table is poorly lit, and 2 of group are unable to read the menus. We were also given a table right next to where a man was trying to fish out cables to drill and fix a new TV stand and TV. I can see what they are aiming for, with design supposedly redolent of copper stills, low ceilings and cosiness etc. The fish pie was small and not as good as a cheaper supermarket equivalent. The vegan breakfast was shambolic. Kids burgers were decent. My dad enjoyed his breakfast. I really wanted this to be a standout meal, and support a local hero, but sadly, I don't think I can countenance coming back - not for weekend...
