My previous experience of the food wasn’t great so I didn’t post a comment before now. It seemed to have totally affected my perception of the entire place.

I’m explaining this because I realise it had only just opened and the chief was probably perfecting his work.

6 months later and we ventured again as I do really like Indian food.

Same staff, same decor, same chief.

Opted for the Prawn Paroka as starter from the Small Bites menu. Nicely displayed with five prawns with a sauce that looked like decoration only, so I first just tasted the prawn on its own. Nice flavours. Gave the second prawn a dip in the sauce feeling sorry to disturb the design but delighted I had. Very nice with a nice kick from it too. The rest followed in the same manner till the plate was clear. A great start indeed.

The main was the Chicken Tikka Masala. The pilau rice was different from the norm, longer and a nice texture.

I did struggle to figure out how to eat the meal with both the rice and the Chicken and sauce in separate bowls ! After a few attempts I asked for a spoon and scooped up the rice and dipped it into the sauce and chicken. The flavours were just delicious, the chicken nice and tender, I was enjoying every moment.

Skipped Dessert but left with a glow in the belly knowing that I will be back for more soon.

As I was leaving and feeling fed it was only then I noted that the decor was after all welcoming, the staff very attentive and it...

Arrived at 12.45 yesterday 22nd February 2025 One bar man on when went to the bar and asked for a drink was told you have to wait I'm making sandwiches

After a wait my friend went to the bar also with me for a coffee to be told you have to wait serving beer first before coffee

We had a book at 1pm so he's reply was yous are early not expected till 1pm so it was our fault we were early walking into a public bar 😉

But yes they were told we could be early depending on what time our tour of the jail ended

After a long wait we then were given menus to order food

I ordered a roast dinner waited 30minutes for it to then go to eat a carrot of the plate and it was cold so was the rest of the dinner so I asked nicely for my dinner to be given back it was cold 🥶 I put salt on it so I would know if was heated up or I got a fresh dinner well I got it back sane dinner heated up Yorkshire pudding like shoe leather I honest don't know a chef could expect customers to be happy with the service and food shocking experience from...

My husband & I and our four kids decided to stop for food after a day out. We came across a lovely pub called O'Shea's Corner.

We were greeted with a friendly welcome.

The pub has a nice cozy feel to it and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

There's a good choice for meat eaters and vegan/ vegetarian's which was a delight for me being vegetarian. I still find it rare to have such a choice for vegan/vegetarian's. Most places will only offer either a veg stir-fry or veg curry, this gets boring and is very disappointing 😞 so it was a lovely surprise to actually have such a choice😀.

I had the Chana Masala with pilau rice and I shared some garlic naan bread with my son who had the chicken tikka masala. Both of meals were delicious.

My husband had scampi and chips , 2 of our sons had fish and chips and our other son had chicken tikka burger with chips.

The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were good.

We would definitely come back here again and will recommend it to our family...

This newly renovated place is a stunner in quality. Whilst about 0.20 Euro more expensive per drink than other places in Wicklow Town, it is definately worth the stopover to enjoy on of the highest quality and caliber of pubs on the East coast of Ireland The staff I have met so far (Anthony, David, Jacob, Niamh 'Neef') have been extremely welcoming of locals and tourist alike. Extremely highly recommended for setting quality and service.

Marked down as you can't pay for food there using a card. You must use the app, also chips are noted as 4.50 then the app charges you 0.50 processing fee even though you are there. Yet in the end I was charged 5.50....please fix this issue. No customer should be charged more then the face value on your menu when they show up at the bus to order.
