A few months ago, my friend and I had an unfortunate dining experience at the restaurant. We ordered a chicken wrap for lunch, but the chicken was significantly overcooked. We politely raised our concerns and asked if we could either order a different dish or receive a 50% discount due to the poor quality. Instead of addressing the issue constructively, the staff dismissed our concerns and claimed we didn’t understand how chicken should taste. Eventually, they reluctantly allowed us to order a different dish - a burger - which was served to a better standard.
However, throughout the experience, the staff remained uncooperative and confrontational, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This was particularly disappointing as my friend is a first-time visitor to the Isle of Man, and this experience left a negative impression on what should be a welcoming and culturally rich destination.
I strongly urge the management of this restaurant to reflect on their customer service approach and take steps to improve the quality of their food and their attitude towards guests. Read moreDining at Capone’s was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had on the Isle of Man. As a regular visitor, I’ve always appreciated the island’s warmth and hospitality, but this restaurant was the complete opposite. The burger I ordered came with a mushy bun, an overly greasy patty, and cheese that tasted artificial. The entire meal felt poorly made and unappetizing. When we politely made our complaints, the staff responded with hostility, insisting their food was flawless and refusing to acknowledge any issues. I strongly advise others to avoid this place. Until the quality of both food and service improves significantly, Capone’s does not deserve your...

The tea comes in a big mug (none of that dainty cup business) and keeps flowing, just as it should. The prices are more than fair, and the staff greet you like they’ve known you for years, even if it’s your first visit.
If you’re looking for great coffee, delicious treats, and a place that feels like a hug in cafe form, this is it. I’ll definitely be...
