Only as Good as your ToiletOnly as Good as your Toilet
Now this review, as all ours, are based on the TOILETS of this premises. We believe that regardless of your fancy bar, nice food and cool décor, if you’re toilets are disgusting then you FAIL. Going to the loo is a BASIC function and this should be at the top of the list when considering customers. So, to the review – MASSIVE FAIL – One of the worst toilets I have ever visited, you could smell them as you walked down the stairs (which were also disgusting). In fact; disgusting doesn’t explain how bad these were. I have added a photo which shows a radiator next to the urinal, splash from the urinal has actually rotted the radiator. Don’t know if cleaning is down in house or by a company, if a company, they need sacked or your money back. I hated writing this as I loved this bar, the staff are fab, the shots a fabber (not a word but works) but the downstairs area and toilets are vile, absolutely vile. These toilets don’t need a clean, they need demolished and started again. Pease Please fix.. Remember, you’re only as good as your toilet.!!

Everything you want in a no frills, wet led boozer. A great range of locally brewed cask ales, sport on the numerous 📺 and first class service. Pity the toilets are a bit of a hike away in the cellar. Handily located close to the ⛴️ terminal and most of the other boozers you should try and visit. Can’t wait for it to reopen after 2025 refurbishment.

Good selection of local beers, had to try a couple, both of which were very good! With it being a Weds night out of season, the bar was very quiet. Live football was on, which made it a little more busy! Defo somewhere I will revisit whilst in the Isle of Man.

I ordered a glass of wine and wanted to mix it with orange juice, but unfortunately they didn’t have it. I asked for an apple spider instead of orange juice but the employee refused to sell it to me because I already had a drink. She said that I have to finish my wine first and only then I can come back to buy apple cider. After I saw that other people were allowed to buy more then one drink, I came back and confronted that woman. She lied in my face and denied ever refusing to sell me an...

The staff without a doubt make this establishment outstanding. A warm welcome is extended to everyone who walk through the door.

Not being tied to a chain it has a individual style and the management can adjust quickly to trends and customer requests.

Live music is available on weekend evenings.

A small menu is available at lunchtime, mainly local pies etc.

Local,friendly pub with great atmosphere.

Tourists and TT...
