Plenty of parking on the main and side road for up to two hours. I’ve added photos of the eat in menu, the regular cod, chips and mushy peas and the building and view from over the road. Orders are placed at the till and paid for at time of ordering. You need to collect your own cutlery, napkins and tartare sauce and other condiments. Salt, pepper and vinegar are on each table. Our nice and strong teas came out quickly followed by our food after only a few minutes of waiting. Most impressive speed and everything was extremely hot! Some chips crispy, others chewy. Portion size is very ample and satisfying for my large appetite. Crispy batter especially either end of the cod. It wasn’t the best fish and chips I’ve eaten, but certainly no where near the worse either.

We've been coming to the IOM for 35 years, and we finally made it to Port Jack Chippy! Parked just over the road. Very friendly service despite it being super busy. A table in the window overlooking the sea & our curry and chips brought to us within about 3 minutes. Good chips, and two types of curry sauce (normal and Chinese). Only taking a point off cos there were very few veggie options & it did seem quite pricey: Ā£3.95 for chips and Ā£1.90 for sauce. Mind you, everything is expensive these daysšŸ™„

Really nice chippy, the food is tasty. One thing that stands out however, is the views from the window. Incredible! Well worth a visit just for the views alone. If the restaurant is full, there's always the option to take out and sit outside on the bench too!

I think this place has been taken over by 14-16 year olds tonight doing a Duke of Edinburgh awards project?! I like entering places where people can have fun in work and it be lighthearted as that suggests a good working environment. But it just appeared to be kids saying ā€œladā€ to each other in unfunny Douglas/Liverpool accent over and over and over again in front of customers. It was fairly quiet when I went in and I was 3rd/4th in the queue - the boy who was serving was asking for others to help him (whilst making those repeated ā€œladā€ comments)get peas and initially being turned down by the other kids who loudly and flippantly said ā€œnoā€ in front of the customer ordering it.And then the boy that did eventually help him out, just filled the carton and chucked it across from the back onto the till area. He did that in front of the customer who ordered it who did not look impressed and who I think he said something on the way out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s just peas in a tub - but the lack of respect to chuck someone’s food around is not what I’d normally expect in here. If they’re taught that it’s ā€œonly peasā€ then maybe we’re ā€œonly customersā€ and don’t deserve respect either - where does the disrespect start/finish!? I assume the adults called in sick today but I’ll stick to their other place at the Terrace until any such time as the kids are running that place as well. Shame as food was up to normal standard. At least two unimpressed independent...

Without a doubt one of the best chippers you can try, frequented by both locals and visitors alike. Busy but efficient, a sign of any great chipper, it has a menu as diverse as it is delicious, featuring mouthwatering fish and chips, and so much more. Its popularity is legendary, drawing in crowds, especially during the TT and MGP races. The eatery has become a favorite among TT riders and spectators, as well as lucky locals. Not to be satisfied with just great food and friendly fast service the Port Jack Chippy boasts a panoramic view of Douglas Harbour, giving a scenic backdrop for diners, enhancing the...
