Nihon no-ba — Restaurant in Center District

From the moment I walked in, my feet were stuck to the floor from the dirt. The table we were seated at was dirty, and the seats were covered in food (probably from previous customers). We ordered gyoza, salad, two types of rolls, and pad thai. Among all of this, the gyoza were more or less good. The pad thai was tasteless, and the salmon skin roll had a wooden, tough texture. The spicy tuna also had a strange taste. After asking for the salmon skin roll to be removed, I didn't notice anyone bothering or trying to fix the mistake. At the end of the evening, I went to the restroom, which was also a mess, with scattered napkins and so on. Overall, the experience wasn't great; this chef has better restaurants. We trusted his name, so we decided to try this place, but we were very disappointed. For this price, you can eat somewhere tastier...

The price is quite high for the food quality. Also the service was very slow, didn't mention there is coriander in a dish even though I specifically mentioned I want dishes without it and made sure and even though we asked for our dessert before the expiration of the happy hour and asked about it specifically and said everything okay they didn't include the discount until we checked the bill and noticed. Also the food feels more like imitation Asian food. They provide sake in a wine glass with ice... Very noisy place. And not because of the people, it's the music. We could not talk to the waiter, had to shout. We asked of course, and they said they cannot lower the volume.

Food: food was very tasty. But, I had expected the dish to be 'exact'. The food that we got was mushy, not what I would expect a chef restaurant.
