TL;DR: Vivino offers a pleasant location with nearby shops and restaurants. The service is excellent, especially for those with dietary restrictions, though they cannot guarantee a sterile kitchen. The food is okay but lacks a standout factor. It's a one-time visit restaurant where you'll have a good time, but the pistachio lemon pie stands out as a star dessert.
Vivino is situated in a nice location, surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants, providing a vibrant setting for dining. The service at Vivino is truly commendable, with friendly and attentive waitstaff who genuinely care about the customers. They went the extra mile when it came to accommodating dietary restrictions, as they diligently marked each dish to avoid confusion for our party member with Celiac disease. However, it's important to note that they do not guarantee a completely gluten-free kitchen, which might be a concern for some.
As for the food, it was decent but lacked that special touch to make it memorable. While it wasn't bad by any means, it simply didn't have that unique factor that would entice me to return. Vivino seems to fall into the category of a one-time visit restaurant where you can expect a good experience and enjoy your meal, but it may not leave you craving for more.
Among the numerous dishes we sampled, the standout item was undeniably the pistachio lemon pie from their dessert menu. It stole the spotlight with its delightful combination of flavors and textures, leaving a lasting impression. If there's one thing worth mentioning about Vivino, it's definitely their remarkable...
Read moreRealy not what i used to from Vivino. Usually the service in Vivino restaurants is extremely good but that was not the case here, instead we got mediocre service, the only point that need to be mentioned that they really strict in all concerning allergies and they warn you about any course in the table that can contain this ingredient. The place was small and dense instead of the roomy restaurants i usually used to from Vivino. Know, to the food. Because this specific Vivino is kosher dairy a lot of manu item we love was missing and others was altered. We was 4 people and ordered for opening "Cheese and Sweet Potato Arancini" that was good, "Crispy Champagne" that wasn't worth it at all and one that usually I'm really love in Vivino "Roasted Camembert" that was mediocre and not as usual. For main course i take what is in my eyes at least a signature dish of Vivino and i talk about the "Gnocchi alla Crema" that is melting in your mouth like clouds (i call the dish "Clouds Gnocchi") and as the anticipation was high as was the disappointment, the ganocchi was a little hard and fill like a frozen ganocchi from the super market and there was barely a remnants of sauce on the ganocchi. To dessert we all take one dessert of "Mascarpone Milfoy" that was ok and they gave us on the house 3 balls of ice cream.
To sum up, i wouldn't judge all Vivino network because one bad experience but i can tell you that to that specific one in Petah Tikva i would...
Read moreI went to Vivino for a regular lunch with friends. I must say I am very critic when I eat outside, I expect to get value for the money I pay. This time, I totally did.
We ordered Sea Bass on top of rissoto, both the fish and the rice were amazing, for real. The pizza was too wet for me(both of the pizzas we ordered), but the taste is really great, they have a taboon. The 4 cheeses raviolis were ok, to be precise, they are making them in place, comparing to other places, they were amazing.
I'm not a desserts person but I liked it, posting some photos of them.
Must say that the waiters are really kind and their recommendations are real(they recommended the fish which was the best)
All in all, like! Ordered a table for next week...
