Kalamaris — Restaurant in Haifa

While visiting Haifa area, my wife and I decided to have lunch there. I have been there several times but for my wife it was the first time. Spoke English to the restaurant staff since my wife not hebrew speaking. All other table spoke Arabic. We order our main course and while waiting we got 2 salads, olives, 2 pita bread and thats it. I needed to ask twice for water and when I saw that all other tables are full with salads I asked the waitress. His answer was " that's what you get with your order" which I knew it is not supposedtobe like that. My wife wanted Hummus which I ordered with additional cost. Most of the food was not so good prepared. Both of us were disappointed from the quality of the food ( per the price) and the service. Very average food and I found the service to be annoying. I do not recommend the kebab, it was dry and portion size was small. The shrimp and calamari was cooked well but the vegetables that came with it were pathetic. The waiters come across as aggressive. When they're setting up tables, they practically throw the plates on the table. Our waiter was setting up the table next to us and gave us a scare by slamming the salt and pepper on our table. The only good thing in this restaurant is the view if you sit near the window, you should ask for that when booking a table. The food is not so special, bad service. Because the restuarant is full most of the time especially at the weekend and at the hollydays, the owners feel like they do not need your visit at all, they do not care about your satisfaction and your experience in their restaurant, you can go easily, they do not need you, they have enough guests, that's what we feel everytime we visit this restaurant, and i think we won't...
