Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

The facility here had a bit of a crowded access point. Washing basin outside a single room with lockable door. Nothing fancy but functional. It seems from their industrial non-slip carpet that they are used to wet floors. Sink had modern design, no music audible, commode was well-adorned with tissue as well as cleaning supplies which I suppose are for staff only, but I don’t want to assume.

One intriguing feature this room possessed was some sort of nozzle with a cord in the corner, which upon closer inspection appeared to be a trigger-operated pressurized water hose.

Now, as a professional reviewer, it would be completely unacceptable to test the hose. But fortunately I’m not a professional, and as some rando who writes reviews of bathrooms on the internet for fun, I totally tried it you guys. What a blast it fired into the corner wall! Y’know, I think I get the non-slip carpet thing now…

Also tasty fries & fish (bowl of small pieces), inconsistent speed of service, value pricing, outdoor dining only, takeaway containers could be improved (aluminum tins and foil. wrap. Will return here on my next trip to Jaffa port, for a reason that definitely is...

The food wasn't bad but unfortunately I have a few issues with the service and the food presentation. The food serviced in a plastic dishes on top of napkins and not a wax papers, which means the napkins stuck into the seafood and fishes plus the sauces had to be placed onto the simple napkins which turned into part of the sauce. The other main problem was a young man which seems to be a relative to the owner drove right between the tables up to the cashier with his scooter to have a conversation with his body while no one even considered us the clients inhaling the motorcycle's fumes right next to us and "enjoying" the engine's loud noise. we were just transparent to these people.
