Juno Cafe is a gem that offers a delightful European-inspired experience, with a design that leans into classic Italian aesthetics. The ambiance is absolutely amazingācalm, inviting, and perfectly complemented by soft, non-intrusive music. Itās the kind of place where you can relax, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet moment.
The service started off strong, with attentive and efficient waiters who made us feel welcome. However, as the cafe got busier, the service slowed down significantly, and the staff became harder to reach. This is definitely an area for improvement, as adding more staff during peak hours could make a big difference.
Now, letās talk about the foodāthe star of the show! I ordered an Italian panini with cheese, tomato sauce, and greens, while my girlfriend had an omelette sandwich, and her mom enjoyed the Shakshuka. Every dish was served with a fresh salad, and everything tasted fantastic. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the flavors were on point. The coffee was good, though I personally prefer it a bit stronger. Still, no complaints here! The menu also deserves a shoutout for catering to various dietary needs, with vegan, gluten-free options, and a variety of milk choices for coffee lovers.
Price-wise, Juno is fair. For four dishes and four drinks, we paid 220 shekels, which feels reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food.
One thing that truly stood out was the freshness of the ingredientsāit really elevated the entire experience. That said, the round tables were a bit of a nuisance (square tables would be much more practical), and the cafe could definitely handle busy hours better.
Overall, Iād rate Juno a solid 9/10. Itās my favorite cafe experience so far, and Iād highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy spot with great food and a charming atmosphere. Just maybe avoid the busiest hours if...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdited due to the response After sitting at the restaurant and ordering, the rude owner yelled at us because our dog barked once. We calmed him down, and 20 minutes later 2 other dogs barked at each other, which led the owner to somehow blame our dog (that at this point was calm and completely unrelated) and yell at us yet again and urge us to leave. I understand if thereās some sort of discomfort, but this was a case of an enraged man, randomly yelling at the closest dog, acting from anger instead managing his business. Donāt want to be dog friendly? Donāt be - but if you are, the bare minimum is to treat dog owners with respect.
-Original Review- Rude owners, the worse I have been treated in Tel Aviv!!!! The waiting staff is actually OK but the owners are so rude, loud and unprofessional that they ruin the entire experience to a point where I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis wine bar has a wide variety of wine selections, while serving other regular alcoholic drinks. The tables are very small, and trying to fit two plates and drinks had us trying to uncomfortablely rearrange our table setting for the whole stay, so as not to have a waiter accidentally knock a glass off the table. As for food, you must lower your expectations since bar food is usually not very good. However, once your standards are low for the occasion, the food is better than other bars and wine bars. The pizza bianca with mushrooms was great, as long as you don't think of how it's only bread and mushrooms - with unnoticeable amounts of cream and cheese. Also, food serving sizes are very small, so don't let the slightly lower prices fool you. If you're a fan of wine, check this place out, but I recommend you come...
