Ristorante Enoteca L'Ombra che Conta — Restaurant in Abano Terme

We had dinner at this restaurant twice in the past two days so good it is.

I'd give them a Michelin guide recognition easy because of their versatile menu, huge wine selection and amazing service that makes you feel welcome immediately.

On our first visit we ordered a steak which was cooked to perfection and a guinea fowl. On our second visit it was a squid and langoistines - both were perfect too.

I would recommend their deserts - pistachio ice cream was to die for.

Frankly I cannot understand the negative reviews some people have given at all. This place has reasonable prices, terrific food, a beautiful romantic terrace and everything to make the evening...

Esperienza pessima! Abbiamo chiamato per prenotare e ci era stato riservato un tavolo .. raggiunto il posto la sera stessa la signora che era alla cassa (veramente maleducata!) nonostante avesse visto e controllato il numero delle chiamate ci ha ripetutamente detto che “i posti all’interno e le prenotazioni erano per il ristorante “ALLA CARTA” (come se desse per scontanto che non avessimo le possibilità per il prezzo ! Premetto: eravamo in due, una coppia con due amici e volendo potevamo permetterci l’intero locale) . Dopo aver ripetuto la cosa almeno tre volte abbiamo deciso di cambiare posto in primis per la maleducazione e la scortesia del personale. Personalmente non ero mai stata in questo posto ma non mi interessa neanche sapere se la cucina è buona o no perché i clienti così non si trattano!! Maleducati che non si meritano nemmeno che il locale sia aperto visto che lo è per merito dei clienti … veramente pessimi, sconsigliatissimo anche perché dalle altre recensioni comunque i prezzi non sono all’altezza della qualità . Non chiamerò mai più a prescindere neanche per l’aperitivo!. Non si meritano...
