A' Latruzza L'Antica posada d'Acitrezza — Restaurant in Aci Castello

This was hands down the best spot we visited during our entire trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality—it instantly felt special. The service was flawless: friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced.

The food was out of this world. Every dish was packed with authentic Sicilian flavor, beautifully presented, and made with such care. And the wine—easily the best we had in all of Sicily—was the perfect complement to an already unforgettable meal.

It was so good, we simply had to go back again before leaving. The second visit was just as spectacular, if not better. To top it all off, it was incredibly affordable considering the quality of food, drink, and service we received.

This place is a rare gem and an absolute must-visit. We’ll be dreaming of it...

Ristorante e Self Service bello sul Porto di Acitrezza con vista.sui Faraglioni. Spazioso con possibilità di mangiare sul terrazzo e arredato con gusto, dipinti e oggetti di artisti siciliani. C'é la possibilità di pranzare o cenare come Ristorante oppure come Self Service. Io ho scelto l'opzione Ristorante ed ho apprezzato molto il poter vedere prima di ordinare i piatti proposti e che mi abbiano spiegato come fossero stati preparati e gli ingredienti. Ho evitato piatti con molluschi, da me detestati e invece amati da mio marito, che li ha mangiati di gusto. Pasta con pesce, tortino di fagiolini,verdura e tonno,involtini con pesce spada, tutto veramente buono come il loro dolce siciliano, credo zuccotto. Nn abbiamo preso vino e tra primo o secondo, ( in Sicilia le porzioni sono più abbondanti) antipasti, pane (loro focaccine con origano ,penso), acqua abbiamo speso sui 40 €. Come Srl Service la spesa dovrebbe essere inferiore. Il personale è cortese e professionale, inoltre, a differenza di altri ristoranti, vi sono libri sulla storia e tradizioni siciliano che si potrebbero leggere sorseggiando un aperitivo sul terrazzino. Questo connubio tra.gastronomia, cultura e disponibilità a spiegare tutto è difficile da trovare. Io sono curiosa e ogni tanto, anzi spesso, chiedo come i bambini spiegazioni su cose x me nuove, come origine del nome o dell' edificio, la disponibilità a risponderti rispondermi in modo esauriente ha reso ancor più piacevole il pranzare li tanto che nei due giorni di permanenza ad Acitrezza abbiamo sempre mangiato lì e spero di ritornarci nel prossima viaggio e...

Very bad experience! Service was slow and the servers didn’t speak any English. We waited 40 minutes for two pastas and two fried chicken. We we asked where is our food the waiter gave us our bill… When we finally got our food it was ok but not very good. We left and when i thought i never have to think of this awful place again, 5 hours later i threw up and had a diarrhea. I ate the clam pasta. Avoid this place if u dont want to have...
