IF YOU'RE A TOURIST, READ THIS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO EAT HERE. I'll be honest, it might be just because we expected too much from this restaurant, but in my 50 years, I've never had a worse experience before.

First of all, I made a reservation personally 3 days before, but when we arrived we didn't have a reserved table. It was very hard to order, because out of all the 6+ waiters there, none of them knew basic English. Plus they wanted to sell us a little too agressively on things we did not even want, like an Aperol Spritz for my 16 years old.

I admit, the food was alright, but nothing espectacular like the other comments claim it.

I can`t say they treat other tourists so poorly like us, but it was if they didn't even care a little about us, and as if they even wanted to mess our experience up, like it was personally against us. As an example, we saw that they brought a little terminal to another table, but they insisted that we have to walk to the cassa, and pay there.

Of course, based on this horrible experience, we didn't give any tips, and we got some very bad looks for it, but they earned it for themselves.

So, if you're a tourist, I recommend you go anywhere else (there are a ton of great places nearby) because I wouldn't recommend this place for my...

Most of the restaurants around the area serve very similar food. The wait staff were excellent and the fish was very fresh, and the mixed grill probably had some of the best calamari I've ever had, which set it apart. Note: not speaking Italian there was some confusion about paying with American express. They do accept it, and this may be the same with MasterCard and Visa, but there is no Wi-Fi in the front of the building, so you have to take your card up to use the wire connection at the back of the restaurant. Consigliato da amici di famiglia, purtroppo non è stato eccezionale come descritto a causa di diversi fattori, che hanno determinato la qualità del ristorante. Premesso che il pesce era molto buono e fresco, le portate non sono state però perfette: nei piatti di cozze e negli spaghetti ai frutti di mare c'era traccia di sabbia, tangibile al palato, che potrebbe essere quasi normale, ma in altri ristoranti sempre della zona, gli stessi piatti sono stati di qualità superiore. Il risotto era un po' troppo cotto, buona la fritturina di pesce e i calamari ripieni. Purtroppo la grande nota negativa è stato il servizio, che per quanto il nome trattoria potrebbe significare anche un servizio alla mano, il prezzo non lo è. Oltre al pagamento di coperto di 3,00 euro, si ha il 10% sul totale, comprensivo del coperto (come se si pagasse la tassa sulla tassa) infatti nel nostro conto solo 24 euro sono stati spesi per questo servizio, accettabile se quello che ricevi è ottimo: invece i camerieri erano in fermento, ansiosi di toglierti il piatto non appena avevi sollevato la forchetta con l'ultimo boccone, un sintomo di fretta che in un ristorante non deve esser percepito, soprattutto durante una vacanza (tra l'altro l'ora in cui siamo andati era relativamente tarda e il picco di affollamento e richiesta era passato); ma soprattutto la cosa più fastidiosa è stata il vino portato al tavolo già aperto e la richiesta di assaggio inesistente. Ripeto questo tenore mi va bene in una trattoria, dove i costi del servizio sono diversi, se non si è in grado di offrirlo non bisogna pretenderne il pagamento.
