This place is popping! Get there early otherwise you may be waiting in line or eating outside in the tent across the street! Not a bad thing, but just a warning!

Had the Potatoes with Fondue and bacon.... If I had have known how big the pizza was going to be, I may have passed on these, but they were good! Really good!

Anyway, I had the Pizza with sausage, tomatoes and anchovies! Wow... fabulous. Nice crust, great flavor. Really good. Washed down with a few pints of Messina. Also, in our group was the Diablo also very good and a calzone which was the size of a basketball! For dessert (I couldn't fit any..) but the lemon mousse with raspberry filling. Also very good!

Nice staff even though they are very busy, still attentive and friendly. Only here for another week, but will be back for sure. Great experience!

And....4 days later, back again! So very good. Not as busy...

To begin with, the service was very UNFRIENDLY. We then thought "doesn't matter, as long as the food is good.” We ordered 2 pizzas and both of them were really DISGUSTING. It is strange that in the country known for its cuisine a mainly pizza, the WORST PIZZASare available. We were only able to eat one fourth of our pizza because it was NASTY.

Since our hunger was over, we wanted to pay. Since we wanted to pay by card, we had to pay inside. Behind the counter then sat the WORST EXPERIENCE of the evening (and by far the worst meal on the trip in Sicily) namely a very ARROGANT and UNFRIENDLY man with NO RESPECT.

Siamo andati a cena con il mio ragazzo di sabato e siamo arrivati alle 20.15 e dato che non era tardi e ancora non c’era molta confusione abbiamo scelto un tavolo e ci siamo seduti. Dopo un po’ dopo aver già mangiato l’antipasto e avere il vino nei bicchieri la cameriera ci chiede se può spostarci il tavolo così che potessero apparecchiare un tavolo più grande. Noi diciamo che andava bene anche se scocciati e ci mettono accanto a una porta di passaggio ed è stato troppo fastidioso perché i camerieri entravano e uscivano in continuazione da questa porta. La pizza è arrivata dopo le 21 e la cosa fastidiosa oltre l’attesa è stata che le persone sedute nei tavoli dopo di noi hanno però ricevuto la pizza prima. La pizza per niente buona perché doveva essere con il pistacchio che però nemmeno si sentiva. La sala era abbastanza piccola e le persone tra i tavoli erano vicinissime quindi non erano per niente rispettate le regole del distanziamento e comunque è fastidioso mangiare con tutta questa confusione di persone in torno. Il green pass non ci è stato chiesto all’ingresso ma dopo esserci seduti al tavolo e anche questa è una cosa sbagliata perché l’avrebbero dovuto chiedere quando siamo arrivati. Esperienza deludente e personalmente non tornerò mai più in questo locale, ci sono rimasta male perché questo è un locale storico nella provincia di Catania ed è da quando sono bambina che ci vado a mangiare la pizza ma ieri è stata un’ esperienza troppo deludente e non ci...
