Pizzeria Spaghetteria dal BAMBOLO — Restaurant in Adria

This review is for two recent visits to the Bambolo.

First time I went for the obvious choice, a pizza, which was delicious. I was with a group of Italians and one mentioned "the dough is the best in the area". There is a huge choice.

Second time, due to dental woes I tried the small restaurant menu of starters & salads & snacks. A plate of gnocchi (very generous portion) and a salad did the trick.

Pizza (or starter) + drink + coffee = under €15.

I hadn't been to the Bambolo for years. I discovered it was under new management.

Not to fear - the pizzas were tasty and the prices were reasonable.

5 pizzas + 4 large drinks/1 small drink + 3 coffees + 1 grappa + 5 cover charges = €81.40.

I'm a fan of their "polesana" pizza (sausage, parmesan cheese, radicchio) which was delicious as always.

As well as pizzas, they have a small restaurant menu.

Meno di una stella non si può dare. Siamo stati a cena in quattro, con in più un neonato. Arrivo ore 20.15, alle 20.20 ordiniamo: due pizze, un tagliere di affettati con gnocco fritto e uno spaghetto alle vongole. Verso le 20.50, iniziano a venire camerieri e titolare,prima a chiedere se avessimo ordinato e poi a dire che c'erano stati dei problemi in cucina. I minuti passano, e in ordine arrivano: tagliere di affettati senza gnocco e le pizze..degli spaghetti neanche l'ombra. Iniziamo a lamentarci, terminiamo di mangiare in tre e gli spaghetti arrivano alle 21.45. Al momento del pagamento, in cassa ci accolgono con "ah il tavolo 54, che si è lamentato tutta la sera per mezz'ora di ritardo per uno spaghetto..questa è casa mia e si mangia come dico io".

Siamo sempre stati frequentatori della vecchia gestione, con staff caloroso ed era come essere a casa.

Questa nuova gestione, fatta di maleducazione..non merita niente di diverso di una cattiva pubblicità. Salvando ovviamente, i giovani camerieri che ci hanno chiesto scusa più e più...
