Utterly first class dining experience from start to finish. We were recommended this restaurant by our hosts Pietro and Lucia at Al Chiaro Di Luna and they couldn’t have picked a better spot.
The service was faultless, friendly, knowledgeable and unfussy: all of the professionalism of a top establishment but without ever approaching over-bearing. The setting is magnificent, the historic surrounds and original features really take the breath away.
Of course, all of this could fall into Instagram-friendly, surface-level territory and little else if the food wasn’t up to scratch but it more than matches the scenery and service. We ordered the tasting menu based around the famous local cheese, Provolone del Monaco, and it was a triumph from start to finish. The dishes were sublime, supremely paced and delivered, tied together by a common thread, while wonderful in their own right.
Whether it was the playful Chef’s Welcome and final course that bookended the meal, the potato and provolone cappuccino (probably the best starter we’ve ever tasted), the squid linguine, the roast beef of dreams, and a Provolone del Monaco ice cream, we were blown away. In case you had any doubts, the wine list is extensive and excellent, too.
If you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast, head to the hills. You’ll find warm hospitality, an escape from the tourist hordes, magnificent views, and, at La Corte Degli Dei, one of the best meals you’re ever...

The whole experience begins as you walk off the busy road into the gorgeous (and quiet) forecourt (see picture). It feels like you've entered an oasis of class.
As a start, I suggest you ask for their special house Negroni (infused with coffee beans). Once again a surprising depth of flavours.
Gluten-free is no issue here as they even have a lovely toasted bread to go with it.
There were a group of us and we decided to go a'la carte so we could try many dishes. We're happy we did.
The risotto was excellent with a surprising hint of lemon.
The ravioli was melt-in-your-mouth good.
The pork belly was prepared to perfection.
Both fish options were absolutely done, prepared and presented beautifully.
Frankly, all 10 of us loved all of our choices. And THAT is a rarity.
Even the personalized verbal description of each course by the staff was a highlight.
If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience, this is a great choice.
THE place for a truly...

This restaurant is a hero in disguise, Michelin grade dining to say the least. The quality and originality of the dishes are magnificent and very flavorful.
You can choose between ala carte and three tasting menus. We chose the one with the meat. (I believe it was the first one)
We had one of the best fine dining experiences in years, even though we did not expect it. Why? Because we were in Bomerano, a village that does not scream "fine dining!". However, this restaurant exceeds the quality of all neighboring towns, including Positano.
Their head waiter gave us such a warm welcome and lasting impact. I will never forget this place thanks to him and their chef(s). In short, service is on another level here, praise to all of them!
Last but certainly not least, the dining area... Speechless. Beautiful and classy, very warm. When you walk in, it's the last thing you'd expect. I invite you to experience this yourself.
If you're in Bomerano, and you want to reward yourself after walking the Path of the Gods, this...
