We had a fantastic stay at hotel Rabbit, beautiful family run hotel, with fabulous staff and an amazing restaurant. The food and wine was so good that we ate here almost every evening. The pizza and pasta dishes are insanely tasty and it's a must to try Maria's home made cheese cake! One day we asked if the hotel had seabass, it wasn't available on the day, but Rosa arranged for me to have seabass the next evening and my husband had the steak - every meal was incredible, we were always impressed with the quality and service. The pizza's and pasta dishes were so tasty and everything is so reasonably priced. You know you've hit the jackpot when the locals are dining there too! On the last day of our stay I left my phone on the bus and rather stupidly had no GPS tracker. We walked back to hotel Rabbit and asked Maria for advice, she promptly told us to jump in her car, and quickly drove us to the bus depot, fortunately I was able to retrieve my phone before the bus headed back to Amalfi. I can't imagine many hotels would go to this trouble and it really was appreciated. The staff were hugely attentive throughout our stay and I cannot recommend highly enough. Perfectly located for hiking, Path of the Gods which takes you to Positano amongst other locations starts just short stroll away. Regular buses down to Amalfi enabling you to enjoy the wonderful view of the coast. Huge thank you to Maria, Rosa, Asunta...
Read moreWe stayed at this homely B and B in July 2014 and were a large family of 11 people.. we needed a stopover as our villa booking was Saturday to Saturday so we stayed here on the Friday eve.||We are so glad that we did.. it was a perfect introduction to our holiday in the hills.. ||They have a lovely clean pool and garden area - which is very pretty and natural.. the rooms are spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable .. the staff were very attentive - offering us drinks by the pool during the day.||But, the most important thing here is the food.. I have lived with a napolitane for 12 years and the food at this place was wonderful, it blew us all away.. very local and regional.. beautifully cooked. My favourites included fresh ricotta, savoury zeppole (donuts) and the local Caponata - which is not how you think a caponata should be.. its so much better, made with dried bread soaked in the juices of fresh tomato and oil.. beautiful.||The breakfast the next day.. was a triumph, cornetto, homemade jam, seasonal fruit, 4 pots of coffee, white butter, hot milk - all local.||I am going back this year and would recommend...

I stumbled upon Restaurant/Hotel Rabbit on a hot, exhausting day; over 30°C outside and some frustrating bus issues. I arrived feeling drained and overheated. The place was empty at the time, but I was warmly welcomed nonetheless. I believe it was the owner herself who greeted me, and she was incredibly kind and inviting.
The staff were just as friendly and quickly prepared a lovely table for me out on the terrace. I ordered the ravioli and finished with a tiramisu; both absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. It all tasted homemade, and I was told it was prepared by her daughter. You could really taste the love and care in the food.
What truly stood out, though, was the kindness. After my meal, she helped me figure out the bus situation, and even said, “If it doesn’t work out, just come back, we’ll drive you ourselves.” That kind of hospitality is rare and so appreciated.
Thank you so much for this lovely pit stop. I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to continue my journey. Highly...
