Ristorante Bar Jatika — Restaurant in Aglientu

We have been visiting this bar for more than 10 years. Close to Vignola beach I take a cappuccino every lunch. Enjoying a perfect cappuccino with a perfect seaview. Last week I took my cappuccino and a lunch with my family. We ordered 2 dishes with fried potatoes on the side. Upon arrival of the dishes we saw that the fried potatoes were not as a side dish but on the sandwiches. Not as ordered but hey, its holiday. My meat was a little bit sour. The potatoes however were fried perfectly crunchy and tasted really great. When I mentioned the perfect fries to my son, he couldn't agree. I took a look at his plate and his hamburger was so tiny I couldn't even see it. But more to a worry, his fried potatoes were cold, weak en not fried at all. He also told me that his tiny piece of hamburger was also cold. Something went totally wrong. These things can happen unfortunately. We called the waitress and pointed out the problem. Instead of offering a new and hot plate or any other solution she shook her shoulders and said sorry an walked away. We waited patiently but nothing happened. After a long while still nothing happened. Since I couldn't imagine this was the company policy towards complaints, I explained the situation to the head waitress upon my payment. She confirmed that they understood our complaint and informed the cook. Furthermore she also said sorry. I was astonished and told her that these kind of things can happen but should be treaded accordingly. A new dish, an alternate meal or at least a discount. She said I am sorry and I ended up pay my bill without anything else than a sorry. Despite the perfect cappuccino and perfect seaview this will be my last visit to this bar. Bad quality en...

Lefty this wannabe place 5 minutes after sitting down!! Our table for 2 had my guest facing the front door so I changed the chair to face to sea, leaving plenty of space for service and table nearby. The restaurant was also 1/2 empty as lunch was almost over. The young, angry waiter came straight over and moved the chair back, when I explained why I'd moved it he said that 'could not be done'. A bit shocked by such behaviour, the owner (?) came over and defended this nonsensical policy. We left the restaurant but not without letting him know I had never experienced such lack of hospitality in my 4 decades of eating out. He called me 'crazy'! Simply incredible. Nice view and nice Ambiente. But that's it. We had a starter, which was tasty. After that we got our main dishes wrong delivered, which could be a communication mistake between us, but the reaction from the service was annoyed from the beginning. We politely asked for a change or something else an got offered another main dish for the ordered price, which was way more expensive than the originally ordered dish. After that, we've found out that we need to pay the full price... Another politely question from our side got answered with a annoying "normally you should know what you order!" (makes no sense, since we cleared it before, because my wife has allergic reactions to some foods). I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, but the view is good for...
