Trattoria Da Leo — Restaurant in Albenga

Today we decided to have lunch at this restaurant with two families and children, choosing it as a quiet place suitable for seafood and pasta for the kids.

We have been to many restaurants across Italy and have almost always been satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, this time was different.

The dishes did not seem to match their price: the pasta was overcooked, the olive oil came in the cheapest single-use packets, and the wine did not meet our expectations considering its price.

When we politely shared our opinion with the waitress, the reaction from the staff (possibly the owners) was surprisingly aggressive.

We didn’t return the dishes — they were edible, and we respect dining etiquette. However, we expected a more respectful attitude toward constructive feedback.

It’s a pity. We will definitely not return to this restaurant and do not recommend...

They are serving olive oil in one portion plastic bags. Wine is not good at all. Pasta overcooked. We were shocked that all happened in Italy. Only kids enjoyed their spaghetti with butter, it is hard to destroy. Oh and the sparkling water on 0,5l cheapest bottle. Worst experience in...

Sei ad Albenga e vuoi mangiare Trattoria da Leo e vai tranquillo. Ospitalità e gentilezza appena si entra che ti fanno sentire bene e ti regalano un sorriso. Noi siamo andati sul menù del giorno e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Antipasto di calamari ripiene al ragù di pesce buoni,cotti bene e gustosi. Dopo tanto ho mangiato un ottimo spaghetto alle vongole e bottarga.Piatto promosso con tutti i sapori al posto giusto...da leccarsi i baffi (ne avrei ordinato un'altro😊). Polpo grigliato con purè e Fritto misto con carciofi come secondi. Due piatti veramente Buoni. Il polpo morbido e grigliato bene;il fritto misto buonissimo,fritto bene,caldo. e per finire un caffè e due chiacchiere😊 Complimenti!!!Abbiamo mangiato veramente...
