Triscele Ristorante — Restaurant in Alcamo

We visited Triscele because of the good reviews. Our visit was a disappointment. The served grilled fish wasn't grilled properly and still raw on the inside so it was send back to the kitchen. My friend and I ordered a different menu but we got the same dish. And the cook didn't prepare the meat as was described on the menu; the meat I ordered should have been served with onions, mushrooms and purple chips. I got meat with parmesan and rucola. At last we ordered the housewine but were served another wine which was double priced in compare with the ordered housewine. Furthermore the restaurant is a beautiful place but the least a restaurant in my opinion can do is to prepare your food in a proper way and serve what your guests order. Triscele...

Ristorante ubicato nel centro storico di Alcamo, poco lontano dal castello. Abbiamo cenato qui a fine luglio, ordinando un antipasto, il tagliere Triscele, ottimo e abbondante, comprende diversi assaggi di piatti tipici locali. Come primi abbiamo optato per una porzione di maccheroni finocchi e sarde, e per uno dei fuori menu che ci è stato elencato, cioè una porzione di ravioli burrata e gambero rosso. I primi sono stati davvero ottimi. Per secondo abbiamo ordinato una frittura di calamari, ben cucinata e di buona qualità, il ristorante lavora anche d'asporto, e ci è andata bene poiché abbiamo ordinato l'ultima frittura in quanto erano state vendute già in gran quantità in tale modalità. Non economico ma nemmeno particolarmente costoso; a scanso di equivoci e per maggiore chiarezza suggerirei di stilare una lista anche semplicemente artigianale, su semplice carta, dei piatti fuori menu, poiché erano molto numerosi e il cliente si trova a dover scegliere tra diversi piatti, e senza conoscerne i prezzi.. nel mio caso il fuori menu si è trovato ad essere proprio la più costosa tra tutte le portate, sicuramente anche vista la qualità degli ingredienti, ma comunque sarebbe meglio se un cliente avesse la possibilità di regolarsi meglio, anche perché domandare il prezzo delle varie portate al personale di sala mentre te le menziona potrebbe essere disagevole per molti clienti.. We went to this restaurant when we were staing in Alcamo. Since it was off season, they were not busy. We ordered the raw appetizer but we did not like the flavor. The food was not falvorful to us but food is subejctive. We also ordered ravioli stuffed with mushrooms. We thought it could use more seasoning. We would not come back for that reason.
