Great dining spot in Avellino that features local Irpinia/Avellino foods in a refreshing presentation. Our group of 5 enjoyed a Saturday lunch. We were quickly seated and the staff was extremely attentive. They provided recommendations based on their current specials.
The menu is thoughtfully curated. We each found ourselves wanted to try more than just one dish! The caciocavallo and truffle antipasto was fantastic. The selections of salumi and cheese with jam was wonderful too. The bread was freshly baked and generously provided.
We were all very pleased with our primi pasta dishes as well. I look forward to returning to try the Genovese. It seemed to be the favorite of the group! However, everything was cooked with care and flavor. The boar ravioli was truly beautiful and tasty. The gnocchi with smoked burrata and zucchini flowers was creamy and still light.
