Drengot — Restaurant in Aversa

We arrived for drinks with some friends. The whole inside of the bar was empty aside from 1-2 tables but the waiter wouldn’t let us and insisted we could only sit in the room right next to the dj whilst there was a wedding party singing terrible loud music. The food was pretty terrible, dry stale chips & burnt pizza. The worst part is the waiter was super grumpy and rude. He gave us a card to pay for the food and it got broken somehow and he was so rude about it huffing and puffing, giving us attitude treating us like children and telling us to go and explain to the bartender what happens ( we did and he was understanding and gave us a new card ) this guy was dishing dirty looks all night and overall just ruined the vibe. The dj was nice but far too insisting on us joining karaoke when we just wanted to enjoy a few beers and we’re forced to sit at the table right next to him. It’s a shame to see a nice potential business and new local spot for us be ruined by the unappealing service and less than...

Good value for what you get. We ordered the larger appetizer and it was extremely tasty and filling. It came with huge slices of cheese, assorted meats, honey, and an entire pan of delicious bread. I had the pretzel sandwich which exceeded my expectations for Italian-German food. The pretzel tasted fresh and came with a meat filling. The sauerkraut wasn't super but it wasn't awful either - again, this is Italian-German food. My husband ordered the steak and arugula - very tasty! There was a pretty good selection of beers so if you're craving something other than Peroni this would be a good spot. Overall, the atmosphere is similar to a hole-in-the-wall American bar. We sat outside in the smoking section but were the only ones there for a while. The back half of the restaurant appeared to be morphing into some sort of club as we left. I would recommend coming here for an appetizer...

Sono cliente da svariati anni. Secondo il mio modesto parere è sempre rimasto un locale da 2-3 stelle su 5. Non malvagio, nella media. Carino esteticamente, meglio il lato esterno che il lato interno. Pecca di scarsa illuminazione sia internamente che esternamente. Sembrano le luci del cimitero delle Fontanelle. Aggiungetela qualche luce in più, che rende l'atmosfera diversa, migliore. Si mangia bene ma non benissimo. La qualità comincia a calare quando c'è molta gente, si sa, si arronza. Prezzi non competitivi. I panini sono come da foto ma in termini di gusto lasciano a desiderare, asciutti, secchi... Lamento, in particolar modo, la questione "consumazione obbligatoria" . Andiamo in 4, e avendo speso 36 euro solo di cibo, se ne aggiungono sullo scontrino altri 9 euro tra coperti e consumazione obbligatoria. Ma che cos'è sta consumazione obbligatoria? È una tassa aggiuntiva? Chiedo perché sono ignorante in materia. Da altre parti si paga solo il coperto, qui al Drengot, invece, anche la consumazione obbligatoria. Ero convinto fosse un'aggiunta solo per il sabato, invece mi sbagliavo. Anche di venerdì e di mercoledì; praticamente, sempre. Non ho mai chiesto per non essere indiscreto, però sono davvero curioso.

P.S. dite che: "per fare le cose buone ci vuole tempo, non metteteci fretta!" , sarei anche d'accordo, ma sarebbe preferibile che quando servite, venga servito tutto il tavolo allo stesso tempo e non prima 2 clienti, poi dopo 10/15 min. gli altri 2 clienti. Sembra poco corretto. Meglio tutti una sola volta (anche con un ritardino giustificabile) che pochi per volta con un finto...
