The following is my heavily revised and thought out review of "Spaghetti House"
I had heard amazing things from my beloved girlfriend about the Alfredo. One night I decided to make my own, fresh. She then compared mine to Spaghetti House. Now me being me, I had to scope out the competition for the best 'besketti (Alfredo) Sauce on the planet.
Presentation was obviously a 5 👌 out of 5👌. The chicken included, was amazing. 5 👌 out of 5 👌. The fettuccine noodles were not over done or undercooked which is quite a feat when you have about 3 lbs of uncooked noodle to process, which was about the amount of noodle I had on my plate, and now in my stomach. 4👌/5👌.
However. The sauce. No garlic, no salt, very thick. It wasn't as I was used to, it was as if they milked a cream cow and then just threw it on the plate. Don't get me wrong, it was a very good sauce; It just was not 5👌.
It was more like a solid 3 👌 4 👌 if you bring your own pocket garlic.
Overall. 4👌 out of 5 👌....
Read moreHave heard great things about this place and after my visit I understand the hype. Yes it is a bit “Americanized” but don’t let that deter you as the locals eat here too! We arrived around 545pm and were seated promptly as the restaurant was almost empty (by the time we left though the place was packed!). Food, staff, and atmosphere was fantastic. Menu was plentiful and all was reasonably priced. For four adults, two kids, two bottles of wine we all ate and drank for 65 euro and left completely satisfied. We had the kids with here and there was a magician going around doing entertainment and put on a show for us. Really enjoyed our visit and will revisit...
Read moreFamily friendly and American friendly Home-style Italian place. It’s very comfortable and the prices are great. My favorite is the Braesola, Rucola, and Grana pizza which has Cured beef, Arugula, and Parmesan cheese. It is by far and away the best. Put a little spicy oil and balsamic vinegar on top and you have a fantastic pizza! Other favs include the T-Bone Steak(includes fries and spinach), Spaghetti Fumo(carbonara with smoked ricotta), and Spaghetti alla Scogliera(seafood spaghetti. It’s all pretty good and feels very comfortable to be there. Everyone speaks enough English if you need help and are very approachable...
