Lunch at Casa Bianca in Aviano, Italy, was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of classic Italian charm. Update: The new Casa Bianca... I will start by saying the food we ordered was good. However, they have cut the menu WAY down from what it used to be. The new decor is nice, the place has a much more upscale feel. IMHO we kinda liked the homey feel that it had before, it felt like going to grandma's house for dinner.

I was a little disappointed in the fact service was a little slow, but they were friendly.

Now the bad. Ordered a round of Sgroppinos and they didn't have the stuff to make them... I thought this was pretty much a given in Italian restaurants.

All in all, we would go back, but going to miss the old Casa Bianca.

Old Review: We ordered I have been in Italy a month now and this hands down is my favorite place to eat. The staff is English friendly and the food is OMG good. The place is very clean, the prices are reasonable, and the service is really good. Try the house wines, you won't be...

Non so nemmeno da dove cominciare; sono stato vostro cliente da quando avete aperto e devo dire che all'inizio la vostra qualità era sorprendente, e per quasi un anno sono venuto a mangiare da voi 5 giorni a settimana, a pranzo con menù operaio e spessissimo anche a cena, con il vostro menù alla carta, nulla da dire se non bravi...ma poi cosa vi è successo??? La qualità è precipitata in un dirupo...sempre peggio...vi ho dato molte chance, ma davvero siete peggiorati in modo inaccettabile sia nella qualità che nel servizio. Il personale valido che avevate dove è finito? Ora avete scelto di fare solo "alla carta", benissimo, ma cosa è quel menù da mensa parrocchiale che avete ora? Sono tornato 3 volte, e ogni volta, in quel menù povero e sempre uguale, mancavano pure 2 piatti, le cozze e il fritto misto...che coincidenza. Abbiamo ordinato gli spaghetti "Giglio", con pomodorini, aglio,olio,peperoncino e acciughe...ci è arrivato un piatto impresentabile e immangiabile, tagliolini(??) galleggianti in un brodo marroncino indefinito e 4 fette di pomodoro verde( altro che pomodorini)...io l'ho assaggiato, pessimo, tagliolini scotti bagnati in acqua e acciughe sciolte...mia moglie si è rifiutata. Ci siamo alzati, abbiamo pagato l'acqua frizzante calda(perché han detto che non ne avevano di fresca) e siamo usciti per trovare un altro locale. Ora, visto che vedo il tono sarcastico delle vostre risposte sotto altre recensioni negative scrivete pure ciò che volete, poco importa, ma secondo me dovreste rivedere molte cose e cercare di ritornare agli esordi, perché così siete davvero molto male. Ps: fossi stato io il titolare, non avrei mai fatto pagare neppure l'acqua in una situazione così imbarazzante, ma non sono...
