Western House — Restaurant in Aviano

Disgusting! Came here thinking we were going to get an american breakfast & left hungry & very dissatisfied. Breakfast is only served on sundays, today is thursday. So after finding out this unfortunate information we still tried we ordered the tomatoes with mozzarella & chicken wings for a appetizer- the tomatoes were mushy old and not fresh at all along with the cheese which tasted like it had sat out (it was room temperture cheese) the chicken wings were extremely dry and unseasoned. My husband ordered the chicken fajitas & i the goulash soup. First of all they brought chili beans and white plain rice for my husbands fajitas? The lettuce on his fajita platter was wilted, the guacamole on his plate was BROWN, the tortillas they brought were clearly microwaved to become hot because within seconds they were hard as a rock. My goulash was horrendous. It wasnt soup at all there was no liquid/broth in my bowl once so ever, & the taste was way off. Service was horrible also my husband had to get up and find someone to help us 3 times in less then a hour and they were not busy at all. Go to bobes if you want american food. This place is literally not even worth...

I went here for the Sunday brunch with my wife and the French toast was pretty tasty and not bad at all, although the "crispy" bacon was not really crispy, and I would have preferred if it was. My wife once ordered some kind of salad (I can't remember what, specifically) and she enjoyed it and found it to be a very generous portion size. I have also had the pizza here and while there is nothing extraordinary about it, it is pretty good for a place that serves mostly American-style food. I will have to try the burgers and other meals from here before i can speak on their quality, but to be able to get a decent pizza and decent American-style food in the same place seems to be a rarity out here, so although nothing in particular stands out about the place other than that, I will give it a good rating and a recommendation if that is what you are...

The best restaurant in Aviano! The food is savory, the staff is fun and energetic, while the atmosphere is everything you'd expect when thinking of the west. I've been coming here for a long time now and have tried a lot of different choices from the menu where I have yet to find something I didn't like. The food and drinks come quick while you can enjoy your time sitting and socializing without worry of intruding. The owners Sandy and Anna are a delight to talk to and you can really feel the passion they have for providing good food and environment for their guests. If I could rate this place any higher I would and suggest anyone who lives or is staying in Aviano to be sure to eat here...
