Baia Marina Beach Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Barì/Bari Sardo

This place has many great reviews, however our own experience was not great. There seemed to be 3 inexperienced kids running the restaurant until two more grown adults arrived about an hour after we arrived. You could see the change when the adults arrived around the organisation of everything.

The food was tasty however, both our dishes had hair in them. First time this has happened in all the places we have visited in Sardinia over the years.

We ordered, I waited at least 45 mins to get my drink as it was forgotten. It took almost an hour to get our food, I assume because our order never made it to the kitchen the first time as the waitress came to check the order about 30+ mins after we ordered. The location is amazing...

Per gli antipasti non ci siamo proprio. 20€ e pochissimo pesce, il tagliere appena arriva sembra abbondante ma è pieno di pomodori e cipolla, sembra fatto apposta per farlo sembrare abbondante; ad esempio c’era un pomodoro gigante con dei piccoli tagli e sopra 3 piccole vongole, un antipasto senza senso. Uno invece aveva un filo di pesce e sopra era pieno di cipolle e pomodori. 20€ veramente esagerato e poi era tutto messo a casaccio. Il menù è un po’ scarso, il pesce è buono per carità ma secondo me è leggermente caro come rapporto qualità-prezzo. I primi erano abbondanti e molto buoni, soprattutto gli spaghetti con ricci e bottarga. Il servizio non mi è piaciuto: tempi di attesa esagerati, in tutto il ristorante eravamo sì e no in 5 e la cameriera è un po’ sbadata. Abbiamo ordinato due caffè (1,30€ ognuno) ed erano molto ristretti e un amaro e abbiamo dovuto aspettare 20 minuti. Abbiamo chiamato la cameriera e abbiamo chiesto: “scusami, te li abbiamo già chiesti i caffè?” E con aria spocchiosa ha risposto con un secco no. Però per i primi e la location che dà sul mare ne vale...

Great bar/restaurant with beautiful views. Directly on the beach. We have enjoyed our dinner of tasty seafood spaghetti. It was also not easy to find some place serving dinner around 7pm, so we were really happy to discover this bar. A young man serving us could speak English and was very helpful and friendly.
