L'Archibugio — Restaurant in Barberino Tavarnelle

We rented a property for a week and a half in the area and the owner of our rental recommended this place. We got there and it took a minute to find the entrance. I thought we were entering through the back door, but it was the actual entrance. I saw the pizza and thought it looked completely weird and flat, so both by boyfriend and I ordered pasta. Both meals were exceptional.

As the evening went on we noticed dozens of pizzas going out as takeout, and all of the other tables in our room were filled with people having pizza. We had to know why people were eating these strange flat pizzas, so a few days later...back we went. They were unlike most pizzas. It was almost like the pizzas were made on a large crispy tortilla, but they were really tasty! Sehr enttäuschendes Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend, das Essen jedoch schlichtweg schlecht. Wir sind viel in Italien, auch in der Toskana unterwegs. So schlecht haben wir noch nirgendwo gegessen! Schon die Vorspeise war eine Enttäuschung: frittierte Bällchen mit Schinken oder Salami - total konfus. Geschmacklos und einfallslos. Die Pasta haben wir beide zurückgehen lassen. Die Nudeln (Tagliatelle con Porcini) waren verkocht und null gewürzt. Die Picci mit Tomatensoße schmeckten und sahen aus wie „Alete“… ein einziger Brei. Am meisten geärgert hat uns im Anschluss der horrende Preis von 80 € und die Tatsache, dass weder die Bedienung noch die Chefin/der Chef des Hauses in irgendeiner Art und Weise ein Bedauern oder gar eine Entschuldigung aussprachen. Ich muss mich als Koch doch wundern und reagieren wenn zwei Essen komplett zurück gehen!!!! In keinem Fall empfehlen wir dieses Restaurant weiter. Vielleicht mögen die Pizzen besser sein, doch dieses Restaurant wirbt auf seiner Internetseite bewusst dafür, dass sie sich nicht nur auf Pizza spezialisieren, sondern mit einheimischen Gewürzen und anderen Gerichten von der klassischen Pizzeria abheben möchten. Offensichtlich Eigenwerbung und definitiv pure Selbstüberschätzung. Dem Koch wäre ein Kochkurs nahe zu legen! Wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Tutto perfetto ECCETTO I PROPRIETARI!!! Location carinissima, Antipasti e pizza molto buoni, servizio ottimo con ragazzi giovani che si impegnano per farti stare bene.. gentili, alla mano, scherzosi, la giusta dose di simpatia e confidenza che ti fa sorridere! Insomma tutto bello eccetto la signora in sala che SGRIDA i camerieri di fronte ai clienti per cose INUTILI e il signore proprietario all’interno arrogante e senza un minimo senso di cura per il cliente! Conclusione: probabilmente non tornerò più perchè non ho voglia di dare i miei soldi a delle persone così poco riconoscenti. Dovreste imparare a trattare meglio in primis i vostri dipendenti e ovviamente anche il cliente, che è lì per godersi una bella serata e pagare tutto ciò che gli è stato servito (con prezzi assolutamente NON economici) e non per sentirsi rispondere in malo modo e vedere quelle scene imbarazzanti per questi poveri ragazzi che si impegnano!!!!!
