L'ora — Restaurant in Bardolino

L,'ora is a few steps away from the Cisano lake front. There are tables or the front, without a lake view but still lovely, a large hall out the back with smaller areas for more privacy.

The main attraction of the family run restaurant is the wonderful pizza, cooked in a proper wood oven. That alone is worth a quick trip from Bardolino, Lazise or wherever you're staying.

There's a range of other meat, fish and pasta dishes, which are all very good indeed. The selection of wine, beers and other drinks is good, and the service is fantastic - efficient and friendly I'm equal proportion! Highly...

Mi spiace , m il giorno di Pasqua non ci hanno per niente trattato bene . Eravamo in 4 deciso di pranzare a Pasqua in questa trattoria e prenotando chiedo se c'era menù libero e non fisso... per non rimanere tante ore seduti a tavola . E per non dover mangiare obbligatoriamente tanto . Risposero gentilmente, nessun problema menu' alla carta libero . Arrivati puntuali come da accordi ore 12.30 . C'erano 3 tavoli piccoli di poche persone... ci accomodiamo , ordiniamo il bere i 4 secondi e 4 contorni + un piccolo piattino diviso in 4 di pesciolino piccolo da farci aperitivo . Nel frattempo arrivano 2 grosse compagnie .... a questi vengono serviti gli antipasti , poi i primi . Nel frattempo è passato un'ora ... per noi TANTO ... faccio notare alla titolare il fatto , mi dice che è Pasqua e porti pazienza . Stia tranquilla dove vuole correre ? Va bene . Dopo mezz'ora, sempre a quelli arrivati dopo di noi arrivano anche i loro secondi piatti . A questo punto penso che secondo lei dovevamo stare lì a guardare gli altri a mangiare . Ci siamo alzati , xché dopo essermi spiegata bene , sia al telefono e al tavolo dopo un'ora e mezza , non avevo più nulla da far ancora notare . Abbiamo pagato i € 30 per il bere e anche il servizio , che abbiamo consumato . Mi spiace che non si sia neanche scusata . Ma come fanno servire gli altri, non stop e passarci via così? Il mio valore di soldi è al pari degli altri . Se per trattarci bene e giusto dovevamo mangiare Antipasto , Primo, Secondo , Dolce , Caffe' . Poteva fare menù fisso !!! Abbiamo chiesto proprio per non star seduti ore , per non mangiare troppo . Spiegatevi meglio , e non verremo di certo noi a buttar via i ns.soldi e...

I wouldn’t recommend. Staff seem only interested in particular customers (say you are German / Italian and ordering lots of food) We were treated differently here. Not greeted at door, others given bread to start and we were forgotten. The pizza was the worst I’ve tried so far on my Italy trip, it was greasy and had cheddar not mozzarella, the prosciutto burnt, not a traditional italian pizza. We would not come back here. I politely ask for bill she said ‘go to bar and pay‘. Rude staff....
