I have never had such a fine Italian cuisine before. Last year my partner and I came by accidentally. We were looking for some place to eat and this popped up on TripAdvisor. We where so surprised by the service and quality of the food. This year was our second visit. Amazing!

Ristorante Al Cardellino is a family restaurant with a few wonderful specialties of the house. For example the 'meat tower' which is a tower full of fresh cold meats, together with cheese from air believe the nearby Monte Baldo and sorts of other beautiful products from the region. Their gnochhi with truffle is also amazing, especially for all who love truffle like me. Their pasta is fresh, their wine is affordable and amazing. What an experience! Thank you again. Everything was perfect! The food was excellent — full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere and decoration were lovely, making it such a nice place to enjoy dinner.

A huge thank you to Sara, who was absolutely amazing! She took the time to explain the different pastas, made great recommendations, and was incredibly kind and attentive the whole evening. She truly made our experience special.

If there’s one small comment for improvement, it would be about Andre. He seemed a bit distracted — we had a small mix-up with our prosecco order, and he cleared the plates while my brother was still eating. Nothing major, but just something to note.

For our first trip to Lake Garda I was looking for a good local restaurant. I found it on a Dutch website and said it was one of the best in de Lake Garda area. The restaurant is very old school and beautiful! The atmosphere is great and you feel most welcome. The waiters are something else, they are a well oiled machine and are very helpful to help you make a selection of their delicious food. For the main course we chose the "Monte baldo" beef dish, with cheese, rosemary potatoes and truffle. It is to die for! We liked the restaurant so much we ended up coming back two times during our stay. Hope to see them again next year. Also the Balsamic vinegar is fantastic, take a bottle home with you!
