Al Portico Restaurant — Restaurant in Bardonecchia

Booked at noon for a Sunday evening and got a place outside, facing the main street. We wanted to order a pizza with burrata, a focaccia with lardo and some chiacchere with mozzarella di bufala, but were advised against by the waitress, since the chiacchiere was a big portion. And it was! We finally ordered pizza with burrata and chiacchiere and it was very good! Dough was soft and won't make you thirsty afterwards and fried chiacchiere were much enjoyable.

I arrived in resort today and happened upon this lovely restaurant. These guys are working so hard to grow the business and are all young and full of enthusiasm. They were friendly and engaging, the pizza was second to none and vino blanco, Roero Arneis, was dry full bodied (LOCAL) and not to be missed. An honest review from a tight Yorkshire Man who appreciates value for money, but who does not compromise on quality. Hope you get to enjoy this spot, its well...

Lode al locale e a chi ci lavora e lo gestisce. Il primo gennaio decidiamo di visitare Bardonecchia, non era preventivato quindi non ci si era organizzati per il pranzo, purtroppo nei vari giri per i ristoranti non vi era disponibilità per 3 persone in quanto tutti prenotati. Arriviamo Al Portico che erano ormai le 14, ci hanno accolto con il sorriso(cosa non da poco) e ci hanno fatto subito accomodare. Pizze buone e digeribili ma da non perdere i calzoncini fritti, il paradiso in terra. Prezzi nella norma.
