Royal Cusine Restaurant — Restaurant in Bardonecchia

Likely the best pizza in Bardonecchia. While it might be easy to miss this restaurant as you walk past, you'll regret it if you do. We were given an incredibly warm welcome by the staff and were impressed by how cozy the interior was.

We'd originally come looking for some traditional local dishes, but when we saw the pizza, our plans went out the window. Not only were they delicious (the crusts are insane!) but the prices were surprisingly fair.

All up we had a wonderful meal and regretted not finding this gem sooner as we would have visited multiple times.

I recently dined at an Italian restaurant and had an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious - from the fresh, homemade pasta to the perfectly cooked meats. But what truly made the evening special was the service provided by our waiter, Federico. He was not only attentive and efficient, but he truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. His hospitality was impeccable, and he made sure to make us feel special throughout the evening. Esperienza pessima: abbiamo fissato alle 9.30 per tre persone, seduti al tavolo alle 21.50 circa dopo essere stati invitati ad attendere all'esterno del ristorante con una temperatura di -2 gradi... una volta al tavolo (SENZA CHE NESSUNO CI CONTROLLASSE IL GREEN PASS) sono passati circa 25 minuti prima che venisse qualcuno a prenderci le ordinazioni (dopo 2 solleciti). I piatti sono arrivati abbastanza velocemente rispetto alle attese precedenti.. I PIATTI NON CORRISPONDONO ASSOLUTAMENTE ALLE FOTO CHE SI TROVANO ONLINE. Pietanze impiattate stile mensa e dai sapori "anonimi" elemento inaccettabile viste le cifre richieste (antipasti minimo 12 14 euro). I secondi altrettanto deludenti. Tagliata di fassona presentata su un letto di rucola che dava l'idea di essere appena stata tolta da una busta giusto per riempire il piatto e accompagnata da purè tiepido/freddo. Stinco di maiale buono, tenero e cotto bene ma anch'esso accompagnato da verdure di dubbia qualità e fredde (sul menù era scritto patate al forno come contorno). Unica cosa positiva le quantità delle porzioni tendenti all'abbondante ma che per gli aspetti precedenti viene vanificato in quanto non mangi tutto con serenità. Per 3 antipasti 3 secondi e 3 acque, 33 euro a persona personalmente fa giudicare l'esperienza come negativa. Forse per metà prezzo sarebbe stata più positiva nonostante le aspettative ingannevoli delle...
