We went on a late lunch with 7 of my friends. We found this restaurant on the internet. The atmosphere is nice, the thematic of the restaurant is selling food and beverages made of bio products. The server lady was very nice to us and spoke great english. When we entered we got seated, and then we were asked to try to order the same/similar dishes, because the kitchen is small and there was a lot (8) of us...😅 So we did that: we ordered carbonara spaghetti and seafood spaghetti. The portions were not similar at all: the carbonara was about a handful of pasta, and one of my friends who ordered the seafood pasta got half the amount my other friends got. And the carbonara was not the authentic italian dish, it did not taste too much like carbonara, and it was made of cream, not eggs. Before we left, we told the server that we want to pay seperately, and she told us to pay together and settle it between ourselves after because it would be easier for her... but we asked her to please solve the problem, so at the end we could pay separately.

It's not just excellent fresh organic food prepared and simple classical ways. It's also a passion for uniquely local flavors and farmers who provide most of the restaurant's Foods. The wines are equally interesting. But perhaps the most interesting part of the experience is the inspirational owner, Nino Paparella who with his wife Sylvia manage this small delightful restaurant. Nino is a unique fountain of knowledge about food, agriculture, and local history. He's the former president of the largest organic certification body in Italy and The highly respected international organic olive oil competition (Biol), a similar organization for fish, and more accolades than I can fit here. Frankly, very few people know the farms and foods of this region better than this gregarious native son.

A truly special and natural experience Subtle, fresh, and beautifully balanced. We had a great time here — the food was very good, and the wine was excellent. What really stood out, though, was their olive oil. They had something truly unique at our table — I’ve never tasted anything like it. They even had book guides from the best olive oil competitions over the years, which shows how passionate they are about it. Don’t expect heavy or overpowering flavors — this is about tender, clean, natural taste, just the way it should be. Everything felt thoughtful and high quality. Highly recommend this local spot if you appreciate honest food done well.
