Bread and Tomato — Attraction in Bari

I popped over to this beach on the way back from Polignano a Mare as it was so crowded there and also rocky. I was hoping for more but in all honesty I was a bit disappointed. The sand was a bit grotty from what was washing up from the water as well as litter left on the beach. The water itself was a bit average mainly due to location. It was very crowded and I didn't feel comfortable leaving items unattended (there were lockers if needed though). I opted for a quick swim then moved into a shady spot under the trees. It’s a sand beach and the water is amazing, clean even though there were so many people, and not too much deep, so great also for families with small kids. Near are small islands of rock towards which you can swim or simply walk, they are great for watching sea&chilling. There are free toilets and even free protected storage lockers. Disappointing Experience

I was quite disappointed with this beach. When I arrived, it was extremely crowded, which made it hard to find a place to relax. The water itself was also not very clean, which really took away from the experience of swimming or enjoying the sea.

What made things worse was the constant reminder from signs everywhere warning not to leave any belongings unattended due to a high risk of theft. That made it hard to feel safe or comfortable even for a moment.
