Absolutely amazing Chinese restaurant — one of the best I've been to in Italy 🇮🇹🥢 We ordered several dishes: shrimp noodles, fried rice, duck, beef with vegetables, and a sizzling hot meat dish wrapped in foil with a thick savory sauce. Every single dish was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Generous portions, perfectly cooked — the duck was juicy with crispy skin, the noodles were light and flavorful without being greasy, and the vegetables stayed crunchy and vibrant. The service was top-notch — friendly, polite, and efficient. The staff made us feel welcome right away, and everything came out quickly and hot. And here's the real sign of quality: when we walked in, the restaurant was already filling up with Chinese customers — always a good sign! Their tables were stacked with huge portions, and they looked truly happy. Like the Chinese say: 为什么要吃别的？有中餐就够了。(Why eat anything else when you’ve got Chinese food?) 😄 You know it’s the real deal when even the locals from far away feel at home...

Have gotten food here a few times....really good Chinese food at good prices (reminiscent of the good Chinese food I'm able to get in Southern California). One of my favorites is their handmade noodles in a beef soup with greens (the noodles are chewy and springy, the way handmade noodles should be and the beef broth is tasty). The one time I ate in, the young waitress was pretty grumpy...but other than that, a good experience. The staff who take care of take away/to go orders are friendly and professional. Passeggiando per Via Quarenghi, nel cuore pulsante di Bergamo, è facile passare oltre al Bai Wei Guan senza notarlo: l’ingresso è discreto, quasi anonimo, soprattutto per una saracinesca abbassata che può far pensare che sia chiuso. Tuttavia, dietro la soglia si cela una delle più autentiche e sorprendenti esperienze di cucina cinese che la città abbia da offrire. Il ristorante – piccolo e raccolto, ma sempre ordinato – propone una selezione di piatti che si discosta dalle versioni "occidentalizzate" a cui molti sono abituati. Qui si respira autenticità: il menù propone specialità tipiche della tradizione cinese, con un'attenzione rara alla qualità degli ingredienti e alla cura nella preparazione. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è decisamente favorevole, soprattutto considerando la possibilità di gustare piatti difficili da trovare altrove, come l’okra saltata, le orecchie di maiale, l'uovo centenario, o le zampe di fenice – pietanze non per tutti, certo, ma che faranno la gioia dei palati più curiosi e appassionati. Il servizio è rapido, cordiale e sempre attento, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza piacevole e rilassata. Il locale non è ancora molto conosciuto, il che permette di trovare facilmente posto, anche nei fine settimana e durante la pausa pranzo. Si accettano pagamenti con Bancomat. Unico avvertimento per chi arriva da fuori: essendo in pieno centro cittadino, parcheggiare può essere complicato. Consigliato raggiungerlo a piedi o con i mezzi pubblici.
