Irish Pub O'Dea's — Restaurant in Bergamo

This is the strangest place with the weirdest vibe. 😳 I came in to check the quality of their pints (spoiler: mediocre) and service (spoiler: horrible). Odd that nobody can speak English properly in an "Irish Pub". Not only that, but it seemed that the barman was way more interested in his conversation/flirting with the waitresses than greeting or serving me as I waited (spoiler: he never did), seated at the bar in front of him. It took a long time for him to acknowledge me, then ask someone else to pour a pint for me (which was actually done correctly)

Then someone [a manager maybe] came with a stack of paperwork that needed to be done exactly in front of me on the bar. Ok, but don't you have an office or something?

So, let's be real. This is not an Irish pub. This is a dirty, poorly-run 3rd-rate Italian bar with utterly uninterested staff and zero idea of how to make a good impression on customers.

Don't bother trying this place unless you thrive on disappointment. It is...

Pub top! Excelente decoração e ambiente exactamente ao q se espera!! Bela utilização de madeiras quer em mesas, cadeiras, bancos, balcão e decoração!! Duas salas distintas. Uma mais direccionada para refeições e outra mais para bar! Esta tem diferentes pequenas zonas o que torna o bar muito porreiro! Existe ainda uma terceira zona, mais elevada com um 3° balcão. Por certo a zona forte dos verdadeiros apreciadores 😂 Tem um pequeno palco, q sugere música ao vivo ou outro gênero de espectáculo. Como não havia nada, aproveitam o espaço com mais 2 ou 3 mesas! Balcão grande em madeira ao longo do bar como deve ser. Boa disposição e oferta de bebidas! A comida que vimos passar tinha mt bom aspecto! Pizzas, hambúrgueres e tábuas com enchidos! O double cheese burguer que comi estava muito bom! Carne no ponto, não estava demasiado passado! Pão quente e crocante. As batatas fritas são excelentes!! E serviço super rápido! Em 5 minutos tínhamos os hambúrgueres! Máquina bem oleada para isto acontecer assim! Não estávamos em horário forte de refeições mas mesmo assim muito bom trabalho!! Parabéns!! Os preços da comida estão em conta. 12,5€ pelo hambúrguer e batata. A bebida q foi uma cola zero achei o preço excessivo!! Existe espaço exterior com umas mesas e bancos corridos! No verão deve ser uma área 5*

No geral boa experiência para local de passagem! Voltaria sempre quer para comer como foi o caso ou para uma noite de copos...

the whole restaurant was empty, but on arriving i was initially placed in the front of the restaurant. but when i was seated, a blond bossy lady instructed one of the waiters to replace my to the most far corner of the restaurant facing the wall underneath a staircase. truly bizarre.... the waiter apologized to me, which in itself is bizarre, clearly at this restaurant there is something very wrong in the service and power relations...
