This is the best food I have ever had in Italy and I must have vacationed there 10+ times! So good we went there twice!

We had four antipastis, all amazing, and two pastas that were amazing too accompanied with their house wine. Amazing everything!

Our waiter was the best, most charming and knowledgeable. She just asked if we had any dietary restrictions and then just served us some of their stuff - no menu needed, they were just confident in their food and it did not disappoint. Their tomato sauce pasta with brasciole is some of the best food I have ever had!

Vi starete chiedendo il motivo della stella? È motivato dal sentirsi truffato. Vi racconto come è andata la cena in modo che non possiate caderci anche voi. Innanzitutto scordatevi il menù e di vedere i prezzi. I camerieri vi presentano le loro proposte tra cui quella di condividere dello antipasti centrali,cosa che abbiamo scelto noi. Dopo gli antipasti sono tornati ed hanno proposto dei primi centrali. Ne abbiamo presi due : orecchiette con braciola e spaghetti alla giovannina. In più, uno dei 6 clienti, ha preso la frittura di pesce. Da bere un vino bianco della casa da mezzo litro, 6 acque e due peroni piccole. Per finire 6 sporcamussi. Chiediamo il conto e ci arriva uno scontrino senza specifiche e dettagli. Il conto 195€. Ingenuamente paghiamo, poi, durante la passeggiata successiva, ci facciano due calcoli e ci prendiamo conto che il conto ci sembra esagerato per ciò che abbiamo preso e sopratutto riflettiamo sul fatto di non aver fatto visto un singolo prezzo dall'inizio alla fine. Così torniamo dal locale che però sta chiudendo ed il responsabile ci dice che non è possibile in quel momento fare la verifica e che saremmo dovuti tornare successivamente. L'atteggiamento è di chi si sta arrampicando sugli specchi. Facendo i conti dal menu visibile su internet ci sono circa una cinquantina di euro in più non giustificati. Ecco spiegato il motivo per cui mi sento derubato. Non tornerò a fare la verifica, non tornerò di certo a mangiare in questo posto ma soprattutto spero che questa recensione venga letta per evitare che questo modus operandi continui a perpetrarsi ai danni di chi i soldi se li suda...

Eine Trattoria, wie wir sie lieben: erstklassige regionale Küche, super nette Bedienung und echt zivile Preise. Was will man mehr.

Gegessen haben wir in einer mittelalterlichen Gasse unter einem Torbogen, gemauert aus den typischen hellen Steinen, aus denen auch die Häuser bestehen. Hier war es trotz sommerlichen Mittagstemperaturen angenehm kühl. Vorneweg gab es wunderbare schwarz-rote Oliven mit apulischem Brot (Hartweizen) und Taralli (salziges Gebäck) mit Wasser und Weisswein. Der Hauswein war ein Pampanuto, leicht und frisch, passend zu einem heißen Tag und Meeresfrüchten. Empfohlen wurde uns zunächst ein Potpourri von warmen Antipasti. Das waren 1) Pulpo (Tintenfisch) in einer sehr aromatischen Tomatensauce, die wir, so die freundliche Bedienung, unbedingt mit dem Brot "Ditschen" sollten, 2) gefüllte Miesmuscheln, 3) Zucchini-Törtchen gefüllt mit Krabben und Miesmuscheln, 4) Polpette povere ("Frikadellen für Arme"), kleine Buletten aus Brotteig, mit Knoblauch, Petersilie und Parmesan gewürzt in einer leckeren Sauce. Danach waren wir eigentlich schon satt. Als Hauptspeise teilten wir uns daher noch eine Portion "Tiella barese" (riso patate e cozze), ein Eintopf also aus Reis, Kartoffeln und Miesmuschel. Was soll ich sagen: das war super lecker, wir waren aber auch proppesatt. Für alles zusammen mit Oliven, Wein, Wasser, Brot und dem unvermeidlichen "coperto" (eine Servicegebühr) haben wir pro Person 27 Euro bezahlt. Da kann man nicht meckern. Ein Trinkgeld für die nette Bedienung kam...
