Chef's Fish of Garda – Tasty but had more bones than expected.

Gnocchetti – Delicious, though more similar to traditional gnocchi in size and texture.

Hot Chocolate Cake – Rich and satisfying, though a lava-style center would have been even better.

Tiramisu – A bit too moist for my taste, but made with decaf coffee for a lighter evening option.

Soaked Biscuit with Waffles – Absolutely fantastic—easily a 10/10! I would return just for this dessert.

Accompanied by two coffees and two glasses of Moscato, the desserts made for a perfect ending.

Service: The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. A complimentary limoncello and a Moscato refill were a thoughtful touch.

superior location - right on the lake! If you are lucky, try to get a table at the upstairs terrace, which is actually a part of the owner's property. very fine food. It is a RESTAURANT: If you are looking for the high quality pizza and salad, then go to the next door pizzeria. If you have come to a proper meal - you will surely appreciate the menu. Portions are normal size for restaurant, not too small and not too big. the owner is constantly "on the floor" helping the waiting staff and also making sure the guests are enjoying themselves. Highly recommended - great food and service!! We discovered this restaurant by pure chance when spending a holiday at a villa nearby. From the very first moment the warm welcome by the staff and the laid back and very lively and friendly atmosphere made us feel home. The food was great, too, so were the wines! Having a nice meal with a gorgeous lake view feeling most welcome - what could be better! We liked it so much that we kept coming back another two nights in a row till we had to go back to Munich. You do not always find such a warm cordial service in touristy places in Italy. Da Umberto is a real treasure and we will certainly come back again.
