What an experience! Come to 'Thunder' even just to experience this place. Worth the ride. We had 3 hours to pay the visit, with our minds set to pistachio shopping. But at the time we got to Bronte Monday afternoon, we were hungry - we were welcomed from the street, greeted with freshly harvested pistachio as antipasto. Shortly after ordering, the main courses came. The freshest burger I've ever eaten. Do you get the feeling? Fresh bun - perfect, fresh mortadella, fresh burrata, fresh lettuce, fresh potato chips (my gosh, the best ever), AND the pistachio pesto. Best burger. Margherita - dough, sauce, cheese - delizie. I think it was all phantasmagoria. I'll be dreaming about it. Only regret - we didn't manage to finish our foods. We need to come back. Fortunately, we could buy some pistachio pesto, sweet pistachio crema and.. we received a hipping handful of fresh pistachios. Very...

Upon entry the music, for a younger generation, although a bit loud, was tolerable. I said my bonjourno and a nice young lady, realizing that my Italian was non-existent, greeted me in English. Reviewing the menu, I figured, I'll get a Pistachio burger and a blond beer. The burger was a very tasty adaptation of pistachio sausage and came with crisscut fries, the beer a local microbrew variety, super complement to the burger. The unexpected surprise was the desert, a cheesecake with pistachio topping and caffe late was absolutely delish! Overall, a great quick service, tasty food, at a good value. I highly recommend this place, if you are in the area, I will be...
Read moreOn our way from Cefalu to Taormina, we passed Bronte to try some special dish with their famous pistachios. This Bistrò/restaurant is the perfect place for that. They served us free bruschetta to try their pistachio pesto, it was delicious! Also made us try their different infused olive oil. Then my husband ordered ‘lingua’ (tongue) they melt in your mouth. And the pasta with pesto di pistacchio was the best😋. My husband ate ‘trippa’ because he is a fan and he liked it so much, too! The service was amazing and nice place. Even the service person was so kind to us☺️. We take away with us some of their pistachios and pesto, too😉! I’m gonna try to make at home that pasta hahaha😅 Worth the trip to Bronte🤩...
