Thai Poke Bussolengo — Restaurant in Bussolengo

Yesterday (1st September, 2023) I went with a friend to dine there. I asked to use the bathroom (as we had driven from a faraway town), the girl working there said it's not possible, but there was a coffee shop right around the corner. I went to look, it was closed, and so was another coffee shop on the street. I told her that, she went out to look and saw they were all closed. She still wouldn't let me use their bathroom. I told my friend (the place is very small and she was standing right there). That I'll have to walk all over town to find a bathroom and don't know how long it would take and he can start first. I left. Everything was closed (it was only 9pm) till the end of town, so it took me half an hour to go and return. I KNOW, from previous experience, that, while such places do not have a public bathroom, they have the staff one, and whenever I asked in the past, any venue ALWAYS LET ME USE IT. Now this person SAW that all the cafes on the street were closed, so there was a good reason she should have allowed it, but she still wouldn't let me use it. I was a customer, and I had to walk all over town to find one, it took half an hour. By the time I was back, I was angry and did not eat, but my friend had kept half of his poke for me, which I ate in the park. It wasn't particularly good. I shall never go back there. Se volete mangiare un poke o del cibo orientale “commerciali” ormai oggi avete l’imbarazzo della scelta di posti, ma se invece volete provare l’esperienza dell’autentico poke hawaiano e della vera cucina thailandese (il Pat Thai è davvero spaziale, il mio preferito) dovete assolutamente andare da Thai Poke, sia qui a Bussolengo che a San Bonifacio e a San Giovanni Lupatoto, dove troverete ingredienti sempre freschi e di prima qualità ed uno staff sempre cordiale e sorridente oltre che preparato e disponibile, qualora ne aveste bisogno, a consigliarvi nella scelta delle vostre bowls. Da un po' è stata inoltre aggiunta una vera e propria chicca, la carbo poke, e cioè degli udon preparati secondo la ricetta tradizionale della carbonara (pecorino romano, pepe, guanciale croccante, uova e soprattutto NO PANNA!!!) che sono un’autentica bomba e per i quali la scarpetta è decisamente d’obbligo (se preferite potete sceglierli anche in versione cacio e pepe o gricia). Took take away, far away from any Thai food (example kra Pao is with Italian basil and not with kra Pao), portions quite small respect the price. It looks new so everything is clean and nice, the girls working are so nice and helpful...
