Tharrae — Restaurant in Cabras

The food is amazing and certainly The Best restaurant in the area. A "must" to go for dinner. We went there 2x during our week stay, no doubt the best food.

I strongly suggest the Pizza. They have several options, the dough and the souce of their pizzas are outstanding, cooked in wood fire oven and with premium cheese, it's certainly an amazing gastronomical experience in the area.

Romeo (Chef) was very kind with us both times. The staff was very kind, although they don't speak English very well (and they don't really need to, the place is packed with Italian speakers)

Waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our order, moment when we have been told that they didn’t have any pizza (most of the menu consists in pizza). Waited for more than an hour for our food which never came, so we left. Another table left as no one came to even give them menus after waiting for a while as well. Servizio gestito malissimo. Abbiamo preso tutti la pizza e una se la sono completamente dimenticata e stata portata dopo 40 minuti quando tutti avevamo finito di mangiare. Continuavano a dirci che sarebbe arrivata che il pizzaiolo la stava preparando ma dopo 20 minuti hanno richiesto che pizza avevamo ordinato ( per fortuna era in preparazione 😅). Quando abbiamo chiesto il conto la pizza e i sorbetti sono stati conteggiati lo stesso. Ma almeno la pizza visto il disagio creato potevano omaggiarla (si sono persi in un bicchier d’acqua).

Per non parlare del sorbetto al limone 🍋 con un gusto pessimo era caldo e liquido.

Inoltre era stata chiesta una gentilezza se era possibile avere un tovagliolo di stoffa e la risposta della titolare era che non ne avevano, ma quando ho fatto notare che era stato portato in un altro tavolo di loro conoscenti non potendo negarlo davanti all’evidenza allora mi è stato dato ( manco avessi chiesto oro ) ovviamente prima di andarmene e stato restituito.

Quanto al locale, carino il dehor esterno. Pizza passabile...
