We’ve been there twice , two days in a row . This restaurant opened in april by a woman , she is a fish seller out of Cagliari and wants that her guests try her fresh products directly from the market. We got two nice dinner nights there with good wine from Porto Cervo and some amazing food , especially the catch of the day was great, very juicy and tender meat even so the “tartare tris” swordfish, salmon and tuna tartare on one plate - extraordinary good. Just one meal hasn’t been very good , the tuna filet , it’s been over cooked so it became dry, as well is it important to write it on the menu that it comes covered in sesame , cause not everybody likes sesame so guests have to know before they order it. The staff has been very friendly and courteous, they explain you everything about food and wines and try to fill out all your wishes . They got many local products , starting from wine to olive oil, all from Sardinia. It’s a little outside of Cagliari downtown , but it’s even better cause it’s not always extremely growed or you don’t need always a reservation . So please go there , you won’t...
Read moreSixth restaurant (second in Cagliari), and once again in this city we were more than disappointed. A waitress with very little charisma chased by a dog that smelled our food, an open kitchen with a less than presentable and poorly cared for team. The fried food was the worst we tasted during this trip (hard and bitter fish, a bad sign), the salmon meatballs unpresentable and insignificant, the tartare on the seafood platter with ice flakes and extremely salty. The pasta was undercooked and the lobster was cold and without meat. A woman in her forties who comes in and out of the kitchen as if the customers didn't exist. It didn't give us the impression of good, fresh, and well-cooked food! But the dog excrement near the entrance removed any few doubts we had... so far, the worst restaurant of this trip to Sardinia. Experience seafood? So...
Read moreWe were really looking forward to going this place given their ratings etc. The waiter suggested to us to order mussels because of their earlier arrival that day being fresh. They were the worst mussels we have ever had. They were minuscule and not even present in many of the shells. And, the sauce was not very tasty. We ordered amber jack and salmon tarter which was good. Then we ordered octopus with potatoes for one of us and ravioli stuffed with shrimp. Both were very average. The service was average and the atmosphere was nice. We would not recommend this place. Maybe because we were obviously tourists they chose not to provide their best food...
