Finally, I’m writing a review for Le Terrazze. Over the past couple of years, we’ve visited multiple times and often brought friends along whenever we were in Cagliari. You might wonder why I haven’t reviewed it until now! While we love the location, views, ambiance, and music, there has always been something off about the service that we couldn't quite pinpoint. However, during our visit two days ago, we had an "AHA" moment, prompting me to share my thoughts now....
We made a reservation a week in advance, when we arrived, the receptionist was so grumpy, I was thinking perhaps he is just having a bad day! After 5 minutes they couldn’t find our reservation and left us waiting while they attended to customers behind us. Eventually, another staff member took over, and by the way, she was borderline rude with us, she then insisted there was no reservation for us....When we finally got a table, the receptionists acted as if they were doing us a favor, which was absolutely infuriating. honestly speaking we would have left in a heart beat if we hadn't invited friends to join us.
After settling in, I decided to complain and discovered that our reservation was mistakenly booked for 8 PM instead of 7 PM. Once they realized the error, they apologized and offered our first order on the house, which was a nice gesture but didn’t compensate for the poor service.
Despite our frequent visits, we had never experienced such bizarre treatment—a strange mix of arrogance and indifference—from a place considered one of Cagliari’s top bars. The service is inconsistent—sometimes okay, but often characterized by staff who seem moody, bored, and uninterested in their jobs, and most of the time coming across as arrogant. With their earpieces and walkie-talkies, they probably see themselves more as bouncers than waiters. This attitude (and I am only guessing) is probably influenced by the management’s focus on attracting social media junkies to this highly Instagrammable spot with its stunning views over Calamosca bay, rather than providing good service to regular patrons.
Honestly, if it weren’t for the views, music, and atmosphere, we wouldn’t have returned. If we weren’t entertaining guests this time, we would have left. For now, we won't be returning. I think we've given this place more business than it deserves. I hope the owners and management take notice and make improvements. I can only keep my...

Ahhh where should I start. We walked 40 minutes to the restaurant on Sunday… we got told it was full which we understood but when we asked to make a reservation for Monday we were ignored. So that got us a little annoyed..
I then booked a table online… which I waited for confirmation until Monday morning and I didn’t get an answer so I tried to make the reservation again… to my surprise this one, got confirmed this time for 17:00 on Monday.
On arrival… dreadful, no sign to where Le Terazze is.. we asked at the hotel and they pointed us in the wrong direction. Eventually a staff member showed us..
We were then seated in probably the best place which I appreciated a lot… ordered a fresh juice, which was half full.. I asked for an ashtray from 3 different servers.. they all said okay and never brought me one. I had to go and get one myself.
I asked for a Cesar Salad… well they never brought it and it’s not like it was full.. there are 5 tables full and that’s it, it’s not busy. When asked about the salad they didn’t know anything about it and was brought later. At least it was really good.
I’m very disappointed with this place, it’s beautiful here but the service is dreadful. They can’t even fill up a glass of...
Read moreI’m honestly flabbergasted by how unwelcome and ignored we felt at this restaurant. Wasps were everywhere, making the experience uncomfortable, and yet no one seemed willing to help or even acknowledge the problem. From the moment we walked in, it was as if our presence was an inconvenience. Not a greeting, not a glance, just complete disregard. We waited and politely asked for help multiple times, but no one made the slightest effort to assist. Staff walked by without so much as eye contact. What happened to just simple hospitality? After standing around, uncomfortable and unsure what to do, we left, still unnoticed. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it. No hospitality, no service, no respect. We left hungry and deeply disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting even the most basic standard of customer care.
EDIT: I beg your pardon? We weren’t invited to relocate or whatsoever, there was literally no help offered at all. That’s the whole point of my review.
It’s not about sitting outside, nature etc. it’s about just basic hospitality which clearly wasn’t...
