Ristorante Lo Scoglio — Restaurant in Cagliari

Our timing to this restaurant couldn't have been worse. Next to our table was a large table of maybe 20 kids celebrating graduation with two couples. Needless the say the staff at Lo Scoglio was not ready to take on this group plus the regular guests.

This was an understaffed night...and...the owner was not willing to give any concessions in price for the poor service and at least two of dishes were a complete failure.

Our food was delayed, service was delayed, if you had a complaint you could not reach anyone in time, the staff forgot at least one of our dishes and that happened to be more like someone through it all together....a simple mixed salad.

2 of our 5 dishes were a disaster...that's 40% of the order. Of the remaining three dishes, two of them was ok...one of them was not great - and we were not able to complain timely because you cannot reach a waiter.

We were not and decided not to order anything more....never mind the fact that ordering more would have taken a silly amount of time that they were already ill equipped to complete.

Our suggestion is that before you go...ask...if they have a special table for an event...if...

It took me a little while to write up this review after our recent trip in Cagliari in mid June! The restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge as well as people we know from Sardinia.

The overall experience was a mixed feeling to be honest! Perhaps this was the hot spot to be or perhaps one of the best restaurants to be in Cagliari back in the days with aproven pictures of celebrities and well known people perhaps.

It took a huge amount of time between starter and first course. The octopus dish was so chewy which we left behind. The highlight was the well known lobster spaghetti 🍝 which we waited for a while but worth the wait. We ate most of the pasta and didn't bother to touch the lobster at all. In the end, we just couldn't wait to get out of this restaurant....

The view was average and service was okey, we have had better food in Cagliari and this restaurant was ait of hype in my opinion. Taxi was ordered upon request but we were sharing the same taxi with another Italian couple back in town. That was a bit of a fast& furious ride like the one in the movie I supposed which I'm certain the local Italian couple...

Ristorante lo Scoglio  ....14 febbraio Entriamo e nn siamo accolti da nessuno . Poi un cameriere  ci saluta e ci chiede di scegliere tra i tre tavoli rimasti tutti e tre situati poco distante dall' entrata eppure avevamo prenotato. E quindi ogni volta che si apre la porta è  freddino.. . Aspettiamo che qualcuno si degni a portare un menu ma quando lo chiedo mi dicono: " no per agevolare la cucina oggi nn diamo il menù  " Che cosaaaaa? Agevolare la cucina? Ma nn sono io il cliente? ... Ma io vorrei sapere cosa scegliere... per cui ho pensato ci sarà  qualcuno  che mi esporrà i piatti a voce.. Assolutamente  No. Un cameriere si avvicina e chiede se può portare degli antipasti  anche qualcosina  di crudo io spiego che vorrei solo del crudo (stiamo parlando di pesce). Bene... La prima cosa che arriva sono dei funghi  arrostiti  e un piattino di  frittura.  🤔🤔🤔🤔inizio a chiedermi se nn sono stata chiara .. poi di seguito piattino di  carpaccio di salmone su due fette di finocchio ,piattino con  due acciughe sott olio in una salsa  verde, un piattino  di tonno  crudo che nasconde un pezzettino di mozzarella  ,un piattino con due  mini gamberetti su ricotta ,piattino cozze in guazzetto , piattino con calamaretti in salsa di nn so che, ovviamente  porzioni misere nn di certo per due. Di crudo abbiamo visto ben poco e quel poco nn sapeva  di nulla .. allora abbiamo chiesto  delle ostriche  10 .. nella speranza di mangiare finalmente  del crudo e queste erano ok . In tutto questo il servizio pessimo.. attese inutili e camerieri che nn sono attenti ai clienti..  quindi abbiamo deciso di andare via senza prendere altro... ero già troppi delusa così.. . Arriviamo al più  bello .. il conto  ... Coperto 0 €(capirete dopo il perché)- acqua 4€(mai arrivata e neanche ordinata)prosecco 25€ - antipasti 30 x2=  60€ -   ostriche 3.50 ×10=35 -  SERVIZIO 12% del totale =(?????????)TOTALE 138 EURO . Lasciando perdere il servizio  se avessi almeno mangiato bene... Ma nn posso affermare ciò.. ho mangiato poco e male . Mi spiace perché il ristorante ha delle grandi potenzialità.... vista la  location sul mare..   Ma nn posso che dire che la mia esperienza  allo scoglio è ...
