Canosa is, I dare to say, quite an ugly town with some amazing archeological artifacts to visit. |Casa 28 is a bedroom with bathroom set in the old town of Canosa, midway one of the several stepped streets going up to the castle. It is a beautifully arranged room, with a small bathroom. From the room to the Main Street of Canosa, Corso San Sabino, it is a mere 5 min walk. To reach the room you have to go through some steps of the pedestrians only street, and some further steep steps once you open the apartment door. So if you have heavy luggage and you are not that you g, you need help. My wife and I stayed in the room for 4 nights during a cold period in winter, and the first night it was very cold inside (the AC system was not powerful enough to heat the room). But otherwise, it is a beautiful choice. The linen is of very high quality. There isn’t much space to hang or dispose of your clothes though. |In all, a...

Casa 28 è un ottimo ristorante-trattoria presso Canosa. Abbiamo festeggiato i miei 30 anni, e sono rimasta pienamente soddisfatta dal menù, e dall'ambientazione rustica ed accogliente. Siamo stati accolti da un bellissimo tavolo allestito per l'occasione, c'erano tre porta vasetti con fiori rosa finti all' interno (sebbene li avrei preferiti veri, ma comunque abbastanza scenici). Siamo stati serviti in tempi RECORD, ed è stato un bene perché avremmo dovuto finire la cena intorno alle 22:30 (rispettato abbastanza). I camerieri erano gentilissimi e molto attenti, ovviamente molto professionali! L'antipasto è stata la portata che ho amato di più, i fiori di zucca in pastella con ripieno erano spettacolari, un orgasmo gustativo! Per non parlare della parmigiana (c'era anche quella senza lattosio), le pizzette di grano arso, e poi la cipolla bollita con all'interno cetrioli su un letto di salsa di pomodoro (chiaramente il nome non rende giustizia, non era una salsa di pomodoro, ma qualcosa di Gourmet). Come primo, invece, ci hanno servito le orecchiette schiacciate con pomodorino fresco e ricotta dura, il secondo, grigliata di carne mista, ma per i vegetariani, mio padre in realtà, c'era il baccalà con patatine croccanti. Che dire? Impeccabile il servizio, attenzione e premura per il cliente, doti che ormai è difficile trovare in ambito di ristorazione, che però, son andati di pari passo con il menù, pietanze ottime! Ci tornerò sicuramente, magari la prossima volta mi piacerebbe cenare fuori, sebbene dentro si stesse piuttosto bene, il caldo non era opprimente, anche perché c'era l'aria condizionata. Siamo stati davvero bene! Il vino chiaramente non è mancato, ed ha accompagnato egregiamente la nostra cena-compleanno.

Ci siamo tornati per una seconda cena qualche sera dopo, abbiamo gustato altri magnifici piatti gourmet, tutti meravigliosi… e poi consiglio di mangiare all’esterno in estate, c’è un atmosfera molto...
