Paestum Burger & Drink — Restaurant in Capaccio Paestum

Not it. The food wasn't inedible and maybe they were having an off day idk, but if you're someone who takes burgers seriously, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. When you walk up to it you get a sense that they know their meats, and the meat was good quality, but they clearly do not know their burgers. Off to a bad start when my burger collapsed as soon as it landed on the table (it was only speared halfway through). I got the Apollo; the meat was good, but overcooked and the only thing that had been heated up; the bread was cold, as well as the bacon, and the onions were colder, the cheese was such a thin slice i am honestly in wonder as to how they achieved it, and of course you couldn't taste it, the whole thing got cold very fast. I asked for burger sauce instead of mayo, and it came to me so drenched in barbecue sauce it ruined the little that was good about it (wondering if they just don't know those are two different sauces, they do mention "burger sauce" in the menu though and i assume they can read labels). Not worth the 10 euros for little more than a street food place. The waiting time was also uselessly long for the amount of people who were waiting before us (just one small group). They do have Lurisia drinks though so...

ECCEZIONALE... Paninoteca che si trova nel cuore di paestum zona templi, precisamente in un vicoletto... La paninoteca è SELF SERVICE, ovvero dovrete trovare un tavolo libero (se sono occupati aspettare gli altri clienti) per poi apparecchiarlo con fogli, tovagloli e bicchieri il tutto lo troverete dentro alla paninoteca... Per quanto riguarda l'ordinazione è semplice perché ci sono una 10ina di panini standard con i nomi dei Dei uno più buono dell'altro nella versione da 100g e 200g di hamburger.. Dopo aver ordinato vi daranno un aggeggio che suonerà e vibrerà nel momento in cui e pronto il panino...

Passiamo al panino: L'HAMBURGER è molto buono, di qualità molto elevata, il BACON croccante e gustoso come quello americano, in pochi sanno cuocerlo così; i CONTORNI spettacolari, dai peperoni ai funghi e melenzane tutti buonissimi la provola affumicata poi è un qualcosa di eccezionale... Panino stile AMERICANO pieno di salse e grasso...🍔

Prezzi nella norma, dai 5€ ai 10€ a panino, bibite dai 2€ ai 5€.. Vasta scelta nelle birre, tutte ad un prezzo inferiore rispetto ai pub...

CONTO: 2 PANINI da 200g hamburger / 1 acqua / 1 cola in vetro = 22€ (il coperto non lo paghi siccome è self service)👌🏻✔️

Unica e leggera pecca il proprietario risponde un po male ai clienti, dati i tanti ordini si esaurisce e di conseguenze ha degli atteggiamenti sgradevoli..⛔

COMUNQUE PROVATE ASSOLUTAMENTE QUESTO PANINO CHE NE VALE ASSOLUTAMENTE LA PENA 🍔

We stopped by here to relax and recharge after spending several hours at the archaeological park and museum nearby. We shared a buffalo burger and a couple of beers under their shady umbrellas out front and this was perfect! The burger was super flavorful and cooked to perfection, not overcooked dry and tough like most people cook buffalo meat. They also had some local wines and better beers available than most of the other shops...
